If that is true, Briggs is the idiot not Haye. To take a fight for no pay, with no concrete contract in place to get the Haye fight or any future pay off is stupid. To agree to help Haye sell the fight with the story that was given (and I am sure the whole Lets Go Champ schtick helped shift some tickets and get some views) but for no money, no wonder he is broke.

Why would Briggs have agreed to fight for free? He really must have taken serious licks to his head to do that.
