Bullshit, pudendum, Browne worked his way up and took an, albeit soft, version of the WBA title from the title holder, Haye has had a massive layoff and not yet, in reality, fought!

I used to like you but nowadays you're proving to be a total imbecile, you inbred fucken hick. Glad you never took me up with my offer for a paid working holiday to Melbourne, you're a total dick.

What has Briggs done except fight bums?
Asking everyone who's not a bum for a fight, but nobody dared. So what else can he do then round 1 KO everyone who does dare to show up?
Except the mighty Zumbano Love.

Briggs is very good at asking people for fights but the truth is he's only looking for a title shot or a big pay day via the easiest possible route. He won't take any risks.

Damn dude is Browne a blood relative to you or something?

I'm not insulting the guy personally I just don't think he's done enough yet to be competing for World Titles really. I thought it was awesome that he beat Chagaev, and I was glad that he had his PED results overturned since he was innocent of the charges. I have no doubt he'll beat Briggs. I just don't think a fight between a guy who's arguably no better than Top 15 and a shot old man should be for a World Title. Sorry if that makes me a d*ck.

Like Love who took him the distance in a performance that showed just where Briggs is at? You truly are gullible to a staggering extent

A) Fukcin retarded

Zumbano Love even stated Briggs is the hardest puncher he has ever been in the ring with, somehow he knew that beforehand and because of that tried to make Briggs tired instead of fighting him. Ofcourse he failed to win anyway and in fact Briggs easely won all rounds, that's how good Briggs his stamina was.

So Haye doesn't deserve a title shot because he's fought "Two bums" yet 45 year old Shannon Briggs, who was hospitalised the last time he fought someone with something resembling talent six years ago, is fine? And then the winner having to face the utterly useless Fres Oquendo is also fine? The WBA is a joke 'title' basically the WBO of the 90s. A sham of an organisation. How are the likes of Oquendo and Briggs so highly ranked? Are their names picked out of a bingo machine or do they have incriminating photos of president Gilberto Mendoza?

Briggs because there's a reason guys like Haye and Wilder for example do everything they can to avoid him, Oquendo because he won something in court.

Browne's last WAS for the title
It was for the secondary WBA belt mate. Browne v Briggs for even that husk of a belt doesn't look right to me. I get you're Australian and sticking up for your man but Browne and Briggs aren't anywhere near the elite of the heavyweight division and shouldn't even be fighting for the WBA secondary title. I'm a Scot and we have a similar situation with Ricky Burns holding the same WBA belt at 140. It's a joke and nobody really sees him as a legitimate world champion and it'll be the same with the Browne v Briggs winner. Don't get me wrong I like Browne he comes across a decent bloke and is fun to watch but is he elite at heavy? Not for me.

Burns the real WBA champion mate. No WBA super champion in that division.

My bad but it's the WBA lol. They're gonna end up about as relevant as the WBU the rate they're going. I don't mean any disrespect to Burns or Browne but the WBA are a shambles of an organisation.

David Haye doesn't deserve a title shot, but Shannon Briggs does? :o

What twisted logic did Browne use to come to that ridiculous conclusion?

Yes, Haye hasn't fought a true quality opponent in five years & he was embarrassing when he did, plus he was inactive for 3.5 years of that time, but when was the last time Briggs fought someone with a pulse?

The fact is, neither Haye nor Briggs deserve any type of title shot.

This just sums up how dire the HW division is in 2016.

The sooner the book closes on this year, the better, as far as HW boxing is concerned.

It has to be the most fallow year in modern HW history. :brick: :witzend:

People getting title shots based on a catchphrase is where heavyweight boxing currently sits!

There you go Price. That's your route to a title shot. Beats up journeymen and "stalks" the top fighters. Easy enough surely? 'Lets go champ!'

Terrible, terrible, terrible fight.

It's clear nobody dares to face Briggs and everybody dares to face Daffy, so saying Briggs deserves the titleshot more makes sense.

You might be onto something here. It would explain why he's also completely obsessed with Wilder to worrying depths.
