You're insinuating someone can't possibly be rational when making such a list? I'd say that makes you the idiot.x2x wrote:As always the idiot p4p thing is nothing but a list of somone's favorite fighters, generally favoring the little guys. Makes even less sense because Jones said Ward didn't beat Kovalev, which of course he didn't.

Perhaps, though anyone thinking ward is better than kovalev is worse.diddy wrote:You're insinuating someone can't possibly be rational when making such a list? You better work on your reading comprehension before you start calling people names.

Roy is full of BS... He told reports directly after the fight that Kovalev was the winner... "Kovalev won the first 6 rounds.. He did win rounds in the 2nd half of the fight.. So with the big knockdown round you have to give it to Kovalev." He also said the winner of the fight is number 1 before hand.
Now he says all these guys are tied for 1st... with Ward in 1a... Loma 1b... and Kovalev 1c... Cut the crap Roy... You're friends with Andre and you're backing and filling to soften your earlier statements about Kovalev winning to please Ward and the boys.
And Lomachenko doesn't have the competition??? Ward was never in the ring with a superior boxer prior to fighting Kovalev -- and he lost that one.
Lomachenko beat a fine boxer-puncher in Nicholas Walters, a World Featherweight Champion who was 26-0-1 but everyone knows his draw is bogus... And brilliant boxing Gary Russell who was 24-0... Now 27-1 since Lomachenko beat him... Russell is easily the world's best Featherweight and he is Featherweight Champion again since he easily destroyed Jhonny Gonzalez... But the other Featherweight Champs are running like crazy.
BTW...Lomachenko could easily have made Featherweight for more fights... But he couldn't get any appropriate fights at that weight, with the ducking.

Again, what Roy thinks means no more than what anyone else does. Everyone has an opinion. The only ones that mattered shaded the fight for Ward.Kalan wrote:Roy is full of BS... Totally untrue. The great majority of the media said that Kovalev won...AND THESE WERE MEDIA PEOPLE ONLY IN THE US AND THEIR UK PARTNER, NOT RUSSIA!

Exactly! And what the hell is that bs'ing backstabber doing becoming a Russian citizen, and why did they let him anyway?
Re: Roy Jones: Ward 1, Loma 2, Kovalev 3 p4p
Roy obviously does not realize that he is not allowed to have an opposing view or to change his mind now that he is a citizen of PutinLand. I am sure that he will be cured of that problem soon.x2x wrote:Kalan wrote:Roy is full of BS... He told reports directly after the fight that Kovalev was the winner....

The judging is over. Krusher lost a close decision that could have gone either way. I am of the opinion that they got it right. I do not consider everyone who thinks Krusher should have been awarded the decision to be idiots. They simply have an opposing view.x2x wrote:Tanzio wrote: Again, what Roy thinks means no more than what anyone else does. Everyone has an opinion. It is interesting that those most vociferously opposed tend to hate Ward and boxing itself.

We hate the corruption in boxing - most especially in Las Vegas - and Ward's dirty fighting.
Re: Roy Jones: Ward 1, Loma 2, Kovalev 3 p4p
. . . but all would have been forgiven if the decision would have been 114-113 Krusher.x2x wrote:Tanzio wrote: The judging is over. Krusher lost a close decision that could have gone either way. Most everyone hates the corruption in boxing, which happens to be relatively evenly spread across the boxing world. Ward fought a great fight, coming back from being knocked down hard to dominate the fight after round two, 7-3. He showed great heart and skill in doing so. Krusher fought well but he simply got outboxed, out jabbed, out landed to the body and outpointed.
The only real problem you have is that the Russian in the competition lost. You demonstrated that with crystal clarity in your previous comment about RJJ
You are a PutinHead, plain and simple; if the Russian doesn't win the opponent, the officials, and those who agree with them cheated, or the Russian failed to cheat well enough. There are no other possibilities for the PutinHead.
