Floyd Mayweather vs Conor Mcgregor (hypothetical) PPV projections
Floyd Mayweather vs Conor Mcgregor (hypothetical) PPV projections
Regardless of whether you'd want to watch it or not or whether it would actually ever happen; if it did, what kind of PPV numbers do you think it would do?

Hard to get a read on it. I'd guess 3 million, maybe more.

Yeah I definietly could see it doing those kind of numbers. It would be an absolute circus show in the build up aswell lol.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Hard to get a read on it. I'd guess 3 million, maybe more.

I live at Balkan, and I have no possibility to watch PPV events, but I would never waste my time and money to see this kind of fight.lefty wrote:Regardless of whether you'd want to watch it or not or whether it would actually ever happen; if it did, what kind of PPV numbers do you think it would do?
I suppose that it would be something between 1,2 m and 1,4 m.....

We're talking about Floyd Maywetaher + TONS of idiots who will create some stupid hypothetical as to why McGregor can win.ValMar wrote:I live at Balkan, and I have no possibility to watch PPV events, but I would never waste my time and money to see this kind of fight.lefty wrote:Regardless of whether you'd want to watch it or not or whether it would actually ever happen; if it did, what kind of PPV numbers do you think it would do?

That would be my guess as well. Can you imagine the media buildup?!SaadOffTheDeck wrote:Hard to get a read on it. I'd guess 3 million, maybe more.

So mcgregor weighed 154 in his last bout. So a light middleweight contest would be ideal. In which i suppose mcgregor would have only a very, very small punchers chance.
Re: Floyd Mayweather vs Conor Mcgregor (hypothetical) PPV projections
If these two announced this morning that they were fighting at 8pm tonight, the fight would do over a million buys. No one builds prefight hype like both of these guys so give them a 6-10 months to sell the fight and that number would triple easily. If given enough time to market this fight, it would surpass Manny/Floyd in my opinion.fanman wrote:So mcgregor weighed 154 in his last bout. So a light middleweight contest would be ideal. The UFC won't allow McGregor to engage in a pure boxing bout. It's fun seeing the Irishman building his own infamy on the back of Floyd's high-profile name and vice versa, though.
