You're 100% right, but the problem is these sort of shenanigans generate more headlines and commercial value. And money talks. So they are passively encouraged. Look at the very end of 'The Gloves are Off', when Hearn appears in the room grinning ear to ear, despite apparently being aghast at their behaviour.

This fight is the defacto main event, seeing as the actual main event is a joke, so I imagine much of this has been orchestrated to make the PPV a commercial success.

Eddie confirmed earlier it won't be cancelled. He's discussed this with Robert Smith and assured him the fighters will not be anywhere near each other until they are in the ring on Saturday night.

Actually on second thoughts the fight might not go ahead. Not a case of the fight being called off more a case of Chisora having his license revoked....again. Dereck Chisora's planned fight with Dillian Whyte may be cancelled following the mass brawl at their press conference on Wednesday.

The two heavyweights and their respective camps had to be separated after Chisora threw a table at Whyte during their press conference in Manchester.

They are set to fight at the Manchester Arena on Saturday, but an emergency meeting between the British Boxing Board of Control is understood to be taking place on Thursday, and it is believed that the fight being called off has not been ruled out at this stage.

Head of the BBBofC Robert Smith says he was 'disgusted' with the incident, and plans on taking action.

"I've watched it a couple of times and I'm disgusted by it. I don't know what will happen yet. I will have to speak with who I have to speak to, and then make a decision, but it is not a very helpful scenario to be in," said Smith.

"I will speak to Eddie Hearn again, we have a couple of days before the weigh in and we will see what we need to do. It is wrong, it should never have happened."

If chisora gets banned then maybe throw big davey price in as a replacement with whyte . But personally i think both should be suspended or have their license taken off them
