Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Parkers performance against Andy Ruiz was bang average and I think Whyte could potentially give him a good fight.
Whyte isn't the finished article but neither is Parker and I think both styles will result in a good scrap
Who do you have winning and how ?

Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Not sure he's polished enough
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Maybe. Parker ain't the fighter we thought he was December 9th today.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Not sure he would beat Takam to be honest.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
I've only watched parkers last two fights but I've not been impressed to be honest.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Not been overly impressed with what I've seen from Parker. However, Whyte's form since the AJ fight, hasn't been particularly inspiring.
I would have Parker as the favourite should they get it on.

Parker would beat whyte hands down. Whyte has just barely scraped past a shot Chisora and is definitely hiding a bit of Glass. Parker isnt that good but easily beats Whyte. Whyte has to be the most over rated heavyweight out there. The pudendum cant even through a right hand.

How was Chisora shot?Benhal5050 wrote:Parker would beat whyte hands down. Whyte has just barely scraped past a shot Chisora and is definitely hiding a bit of Glass. I thought he was going into the fight, but Chisora showed he has plenty left.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Not sure about the 'bit of glass' that you mention, he took plenty of licks Saturday night and took a fair few good shots from AJ before finally keeling.Benhal5050 wrote:Parker would beat whyte hands down. Nowt wrong with his chin if you ask me.
But I think Parker would outbox him.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Whyte and the Chisora that showed up on the weekend both beat Parker he really is untested plus AJ walks through him too.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
im no whyte fanboy but parker has not impressed in his last few fights. he was lucky to win imo the other day. whyte would need to turn it into a brawl, if he does he wins

Nothing wrong with Whyte's chin at all. Showed very good powers of recovery too.keirw wrote:Not sure about the 'bit of glass' that you mention, he took plenty of licks Saturday night and took a fair few good shots from AJ before finally keeling.Benhal5050 wrote:Parker would beat whyte hands down. Too easy to hit though.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Similar to Parker v Takam. Takam is a wee bit better than Whyte for me but it's toss of a coin stuff.
Whyte v Takam would be a fight I'd like to see, in the current scene it would almost certainly lead to a title shot tbh

Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
I had both of them losing over the weekend.
Seems like a close match-up to me.

If Parker is untested, how tested is Whyte?london wrote:Whyte and the Chisora that showed up on the weekend both beat Parker he really is untested plus AJ walks through him too.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Whyte recovered well, but I was surprised at how much he was hurt in the fight. Del isn't really a big banger, but he had Whyte quite unsteady at times and rocked him in a number of rounds. There was one round in particular, maybe the 5th, in which I thought Whyte looked like he may've been ready to go.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Nothing wrong with Whyte's chin at all. I can easily see how someone who knew nothing of the fighters' reputations would think that Chisora is considered the puncher of the two.
Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Fair point but I think another disappointing performance from Del Boy would've been the end of his career. He lost but gave a cracking showing!jamesmcdonnell wrote:How was Chisora shot?Benhal5050 wrote:Parker would beat whyte hands down. I thought he was going into the fight, but Chisora showed he has plenty left.

You must rate Parker highly if you don't think Takam was even a test for him.

Re: Would Whyte beat Parker ?
Both are overrated.
I had Whyte losing against Chisora. I'd go with Parker by KO.
