Would Whyte beat Parker ?

Post by kbackup408 »

Parkers performance against Andy Ruiz was bang average and I think Whyte could potentially give him a good fight.

Whyte isn't the finished article but neither is Parker and I think both styles will result in a good scrap

Who do you have winning and how ?

Not sure he would beat Takam to be honest.

I've only watched parkers last two fights but I've not been impressed to be honest.

Not been overly impressed with what I've seen from Parker. However, Whyte's form since the AJ fight, hasn't been particularly inspiring.
I would have Parker as the favourite should they get it on.

Parker would beat whyte hands down. Whyte has just barely scraped past a shot Chisora and is definitely hiding a bit of Glass. Parker isnt that good but easily beats Whyte. Whyte has to be the most over rated heavyweight out there. The pudendum cant even through a right hand.

How was Chisora shot?

I thought he was going into the fight, but Chisora showed he has plenty left.

Not sure about the 'bit of glass' that you mention, he took plenty of licks Saturday night and took a fair few good shots from AJ before finally keeling.
Nowt wrong with his chin if you ask me.

But I think Parker would outbox him.

Whyte and the Chisora that showed up on the weekend both beat Parker he really is untested plus AJ walks through him too.

im no whyte fanboy but parker has not impressed in his last few fights. he was lucky to win imo the other day. whyte would need to turn it into a brawl, if he does he wins

Nothing wrong with Whyte's chin at all. Showed very good powers of recovery too.

Too easy to hit though.

Similar to Parker v Takam. Takam is a wee bit better than Whyte for me but it's toss of a coin stuff.

Whyte v Takam would be a fight I'd like to see, in the current scene it would almost certainly lead to a title shot tbh

I had both of them losing over the weekend.

Seems like a close match-up to me.

If Parker is untested, how tested is Whyte?

Whyte recovered well, but I was surprised at how much he was hurt in the fight. Del isn't really a big banger, but he had Whyte quite unsteady at times and rocked him in a number of rounds. There was one round in particular, maybe the 5th, in which I thought Whyte looked like he may've been ready to go.

I can easily see how someone who knew nothing of the fighters' reputations would think that Chisora is considered the puncher of the two.

Fair point but I think another disappointing performance from Del Boy would've been the end of his career. He lost but gave a cracking showing!

Takam wasn't a test for Parker?

You must rate Parker highly if you don't think Takam was even a test for him.

Both are overrated.

I had Whyte losing against Chisora. I'd go with Parker by KO.
