He won 7 clear rounds, plus a couple rounds were close. He almost stopped DeGale twice. In those two rounds DeGale was barely throwing (to say nothing of landing) anything. DeGale got beaten up, and I originally was rooting for him.
So you had it 114-112 to Badou Jack or 116-110 to Jack if you award the close rounds to him?

Yea I saw it like this also still a close fight though. Degales shots were being blocked. I hope the judges realise blocking is defence.

Because there's so many of the Brit Lot on here there is that chance they could over hype a JDG performance and scream Draw if it went tits up.
Jury is out till we get a look.

I posted my scores in real-time, immediately after each round, with my final scorecards matching two of the official judges scoring (113-113).

I also awarded multiple rounds to the opposite fighter that the Sky UK commentary team decided upon. So my opinion wasn't being unduly influenced by anything other than what I observed with my own eyeballs.

In my mind a draw was a fair result. Even though Badou Jack won most of the rounds from the 4th round onwards, he gave DeGale a huge 4 point head start after the first three rounds, which I felt (at the time) was an almost insurmountable lead given how evenly matched the fighters were.

A draw was fair, great fight between to seriously tough dudes, nobody deserved to lose their titles. Don't pay any attention to what the spoiled baby Floyd says.

The 1st big fight of 2017 and its clearly a robbery because De Gale got his ass kicked he fought like a fighter that was hurt on atleast half a dozen occasion's because he was hurting.............. Jack was told by his corner early in the fight to keep up the body work because you are hurting him to the body that advice was right on the money a fighter can certainly win a fight on the back foot but not the way De Gale fought tonight his punch's were off target mostly hitting glove's and arm's if not thin air and Jack in return was hitting De Gale with the much much cleaner punch's through out the fight and the knock down in the last round was the clincher for Jack he was ROBBED a draw in any fight is a bummer but in a UNIFICATION its f.cked I can almost hear Crocodile Dundee say ''that's not a robbery[Kovalev/Ward] this is a robbery''Jack/De Gale  it would be funny if it wasn't so sad :verysad:...............8 round's Jack 4 Round's De Gale 115/111. :TU:

I had it 114 - 113 Degale, watching it this morning with a slight hangover.

Few close rounds, could have gone either way

Calls of ROBERRY are ridiculous

114-113 for Jack. Close on the cards but DeGale got beaten up.

I had it 114-112 for DeGale.

Close fight, no one likes a draw but it was a fair result.

They say who wants it more. But both fighters gave it what they could.

It was similar to Kovalev Ward, in that
The rounds Jack won were more clearly his.....but there were 4 or 5 rounds that could easily go either way, where if you give most of them to Degale you get a draw or tight win for him

I agree Jack won. I was rooting for Degale, but Jack landed more and did more damage.

Yes. A clear win doesn't have to be a wide win. If 7 rounds can't be scored to the other fighter (with equal number of KDs), then it is a clear win.

OK fair enough
