So you don't think that it's conceivable to score the fight for DeGale?

You're giving him the benefit of the doubt in every mildly close round to score it for him IMO, and he was outlanded in punches in even a lot of the rounds I did score for him.

I thought he got swept over the last 5 rounds, and Jack won at least 2 of the first 7. You could argue he won 3 or more.

Jack won by 1 point on my card.

He looked almost suspiciously strong. Perhaps it's wearing a belt, perhaps he's using Floid's dietician.

I gave DeGale 3 of the last 5. I didn't see any late rounds domination from Jack.

There were lots of close rounds and people scored them differently. You scored it the way you scored it and other people scored it the way they did.

Loads of people scored the fight for DeGale, so you acting like it is "inconceivable" for the fight to be scored to DeGale is daft.

I don't like to accuse normally, but the thought did cross my mind as well. Saying that, everyone said the same about Porky Medina, so either DeGale is facing consecutive juicers or he's just a bit weaker than we all thought.

Is DeGale considered to be a strong fighter?

Not in terms of pure punching power. But in terms of general strength, I would have expected him to be stronger than both Jack & Medina based on previous performances.

Mayweather fighters will be doing exactly as he did, it's naive to think otherwise.

Giving Degale 3 of the last 5 just shows how blatantly bias you are in favor of U.K. fighters.

I thought Jack won it and I expected it to be a UD. The scorecard given to Degale surprised me. I just felt from round 3 up til about 10 Jack controlled most of the rounds albeit some were close. The knockdown in the last really saved Jack but I don't think it should have. I thought he had it.
Jack was not busy enough in a number of close rounds. It looked like he was taking it over but Degale would comeback in individual rounds and in the fight. Jack was cutting it too fine activity-wise. He was the aggressor for most of the fight but Degale threw great combos to score points in rounds.

It is true that in the UK the decision would have likely been lopsided for Degale in this fight and if the roles were reversed it would likely have been a relatively wide UD. But are we now going to cry robbery if the judges don't give home fighters their home advantage? :shame:

Competitive but clear for Jack IMO. Bute tried hard and looked better than the unconfident guy who was routed by Pascal, but he was still outgunned in most rounds.

I scored the fight 114-112 to DeGale, which is the same margin that lots of people scored the fight to DeGale. Scoring this fight to DeGale by two points is not an unusual or clearly biased scorecard.

You scored it 114-112 to Jack, others who scored it differently are not necessarily wrong. Maybe you should try to have more tolerance for other people's opinions.

Ive watched DeGale since the schoolboys, he doesn't get bullied by anyone. I've seen a bit of Jack as well. The guy was juiced off his tits.

The judges scored the fight, you are wrong.

Why not set up an on-line petition alongside the Brexit and Trump ones and ask for a re-count?

Watched the fight twice now - great fight , and how tough was DeGale.
I had DeGale up by 4 points going into the last. I don't believe I'm biased, I try to concentrate on every second and what I do is count the 'scoring' punches although i realise that's not the criteria but it helps me to pay attention.
On the official scorecards only 7 rounds were unanimous . Close fight.
