Seen this been said a few times since the fight. Just wondering how so? Frampton won the first fight and got narrowly beaten after a slow start in the second fight. Carl has no leverage to bring Leo over. There wasn't a rematch clause this time around and Leo has the belt, he is the Champ.
Leo initoally did say that he would fight in Belfast but in the subsrquent interviews since he has said repeatedly that it's not his decision & it depends on what his team thinks.
I really don't see the incentive for LSC to travel abroad and face a hostile crowd. He would probably win the fight and get robbed and he knows this.
Not a chance of a Belfast fight. I could see a rematch happening in Vegas. But the problem is that the demand isn't quite there. It was pretty clear the LSC is the better fighter.

Agreed. Tactically, Carl got the 2nd fight wrong and it's cost him. It doesn't mean that Leo is automatically the better fighter.

I do hope, as it looks as though the 3rd will probably happen next, that if Carl wins another close one, that they don't go straight into a fourth fight. Christ 4 fights! Lol! I've enjoyed the first two but there's other fights out there for both. And having multi-fight rivallries can be be big money-spinners for both fighters especially at the lower weights as we've seen, Barrera vs Morales, Pacquaio vs JM Marquez - i think that's what Carl is relying on and hoping for.

The rematch wasn't a close fight. Judges had the same scores for ward vs Froch and that wasn't close. Santa Cruz showed himself the superior fighter. You're only as good as your last fight and Santa Cruz comfortably won the fight. I now believe that he didn't train to the fullest extent the first time around due to his dad etc.
