Maybe his inactivity is down to a lack of enthusiasm for the sport. He probably realizes he's gone as far as he can in the game and sees no point in knocking over bums for a grand or two every couple of months especially if it means training camp.JimJim2009 wrote:One thing that's infuriated me about Price is how chuffing slow his career moves. Half a year out after the second loss to Thompson. Almost a year out after the loss to Teper, with just two nothing wins in the whole of 2016. Chances are he'll take off most of the year and return late 2017 or early 2018 with a knock over. If he does carry on he should do it the Foreman comeback way, stringing together a run of a dozen or so stoppages against roadkill opposition. I think Hughie Fury got a dozen wins in 2013. Whilst nothing can take away the bad losses, Price can become relevant again at domestic/european level with a series of easy knock outs, to remind people what he can actually do.
He clearly doesn't live the life so the prospect of dragging his lumpen unathletic frame through a gruelling 6 or 8 weeks might not appeal to him when he considers the frugal rewards on offer
