Let me tell you where Anthony Joshua is indisputably superior to Ali.

1. Ali won his Olympic Gold as a Light Heavyweight. Joshua won his as a 240 pound Heavyweight... 2. Joshua has a superior KO record at this stage of his career. He's the only Heavyweight Champion in History, besides Vitali Klitschko, that owns a 100% KO ratio after winning a Heavyweight Championship and winning 2 Title Defenses... 3. Joshua is bigger and taller than Ali with a longer reach -- and he's more powerfully built... 4. Joshua has never been awarded a controversial win over a mediocre Light Heavyweight such as Doug Jones... 5. Joshua has never been floored and almost knocked out by a 185-pound bleeder who'd previously been beaten and knocked out many times... 6. Joshua doesn't pull straight back from punches. He ironed out that flaw after his 10th amateur fight... 7. Joshua isn't likely to lose to a China chin like Ken Norton, or a neophyte like Leon Spinks... 8. Joshua is not a braggart. He doesn't believe in blowing his own horn... 9. Joshua is respectful to all of his opponents, even those who hate him like Dillian Whyte, who is a miserably jealous punk... 10. Joshua doesn't put on weight and get fat between fights like Fury, Foreman, Arreola, Hatton, Willard, Duran, Douglas, Witherspoon, Tubbs, Mathis, Ali, and 50,000 other poorly disciplined boxers... 11. Joshua is a better attacker and finisher than Ali... 12. Joshua is a better infighter and body puncher than Ali... 13. Joshua ducks under punches better than Ali... 14. Joshua has greater range and pop on his jab than Ali... 15. Joshua fires his right counter to head and body more deftly than Ali, and to more damaging effect... 16. Joshua is more disciplined in the execution of his footwork, and his timing is better.

Let me tell you where Ali was superior to Joshua.

1. Ali was better at hyping a fight and drumming up publicity... 2. Hmmm... This is going to take a while.

I've been done reading your stuff for a while, thanks. Anyone that would go out of there way to post that topic or anyone else's ridiculous thoughts of the like are all in the same dink boat to me. I hope it sinks.
So in other words, all you need to do is read a few words written by other forum members, not even an entire thread title, to be compelled to submit multiple irrational incoherent abusive posts on multiple threads complaining about the things that they wrote.

Good for you! It’s good to see you try your upmost to maintain your reputation.
See, you want everyone to write a thesis back to you and to take a few days off from work so we have time to page through the mountain of BS you have time to write. I can't do that. I want to live...reading anymore more than i have to from you makes me wanna die. I'm not going to pick through your bowel movements to find the corn you've been looking for. Just be a little more responsible about the OP's you decide to bring into the world.

The only thing I expect is that people don’t criticise my words without having read them beforehand.

You have criticised this thread and also conceded that you lacked the courtesy to actually read my words.

If my posts and threads bore you, then please ignore them. Don’t go around making accusations about the things I’m supposed to have done that never occurred in anybody’s version of reality!

You don’t have the right to ask me to do anything, especially when you refuse to take “responsibility” for your ignorant behaviour. Since you feel compelled to criticise my words without making any effort to read them.

Other than they were both Boxers I think the similarities between Ali and Joshua end there.

They're both big and tall for their day... They're both black... They're both crafty... They're both quick... They both can work from range... They both employ a right counter ... But as far as power, versatility, in-fighting ability, disciplined defense, attacking skills, killer instinct, aggression, finishing ability, and proclivity to grab, clinch, and wrestle inside instead of fight, there's little resemblance between them.

Another difference: no one in this thread is sucking Ali's left nut, but it looks like both of Joshua's are occupied...

I never once called you out muchacho. You pick through the stuff i read for anything that might resemble an insult that might be in your direction and then come tugging on my pant legs looking for action. I don't read your stuff and that's precisely how I MAY have misunderstood this dumb OP. Just look at the title of it. Either you are:

A- a first class troll looking for some shocking headline so someone will read it.
B- you actually feel that Anthony Joshua is the next coming of Ali.
C-All of the above.

If you have noticed, not great choices up there to choose from.

Stay away from my stuff and i'll stay away from yours. Problem solved. Have a good life.

Pure fiction.
caldo2025 wrote:I don't read your stuff and that's precisely how I MAY have misunderstood this dumb OP.
So you admit to criticising something you’ve never made an effort to understand. That’s a prime example of someone being ignorant.

If you’d read the article that was hyperlinked in the first post in this thread, you’d realise that the thread title is simply an abbreviated version of the article title published by ‘The Telegraph’, so the words weren't mine, but your ignorance prevented you from recognising this fact.

If you don’t read things, but criticise and make false claims about them anyway, then all it serves it to portray yourself as a moron of the highest possible degree.
caldo2025 wrote:Stay away from my stuff and i'll stay away from yours. Problem solved. Have a good life.
I don’t have to alter my behaviour, because there’s nothing unreasonable about defending oneself from the criticism expressed by an ignoramus. If you stop criticising me unfairly, then there won’t be a reason for me to attack your posts.

Anthony Joshua ... as great as he may be ... is just a boxer ...

Possibly.

I like the truth and I like hearing opinions, but it's obvious you have an agenda against Ali.
You've sort of made it a head to head when they're from different eras. You brought up the some good points and bad points but here's a point.
Ali is a legend, AJ is still in prospect stage, he's fought no top 10 fighters! He's in an extremely close fight next up which could make or break him.
The comparisons are ludicrous, however you're onto something saying he 'could be a future ATG'.

Frank Bruno was a punching bag similar to Ali... He got decked a few times and knocked out just like happed to Ali... Never happened to AJ and never will.
