The fight, like most, didn't really live up to the hype either. Good scrap and I'm glad it was a free fight; it wouldn't have been worth paying for that.

There were a bunch of close rounds but if Danny gets this it is very close to being the R word for me.

So I see him catching Thurman with a left hook counter sometime soon and putting him to sleep
Thurman has always found a way too
Well, that's true

But you know what I mean, He's performed badly and eeked out a victory, he's been behind and found the knock out when he needed it and he's gone in as the underdog and upset the odds.

Thurmans always been favoured, pretty much always been ahead and never desperately needed a stoppage to get a shock win

Definitely. I was expecting more, but Thurman looked in control despite it being competitive.

I agree. Became completely tactical in last 7. Good but not great fight.

Split decision was bad enough.

Split decision for Thurman. Should have been unanimous. Clearly

Thurman clear wins and SD was unnecessary. One judge obviously was not watching the fight.

I don't think it was a convincing win for Thurman. One point or two points at the most.

What did you think Garcia was doing to win his rounds?

What's more shocking, that boxing judges try and eff things up again or that Angel Garcia was trying to insert himself into the interview?

Thurman clearly won that fight, 9-3 for me.

Kevin Morgan should never be allowed to judge a fight again. How in hell can you have that fight 115-113 Garcia?
