Good to see Chavez is taking this seriously. This will be the first fight where I will be rooting for him. How sweet it would be to see Gingerhead get KTFO.

I'll be rooting for Chavez Jr. too. Hopefully Jr. has enough left in his tank come fight night.

In terms of the betting odds for the Canelo-Chavez Jr. fight, '32Red' rate Alvarez as being 90.9% certain (1/10) to defeat Julio, with the Mexican underdog having an implied probability of just 15.4% (11/2) to emerge victorious.

Just to place some context on these numbers should you fancy placing a bet on the Canelo-Chavez Jr. fight…

If you placed a £10 bet with '32Red' on Canelo to defeat Chavez Jr., you’d only make £1 profit. Place precisely the same bet on his opponent and you’d potentially profit by £55.

That should tell you how much the mainstream casual fight fans rate Chavez Jr’s chances of defeating Canelo Alvarez! :o

In regards to the question posed by this poll, Chavez Jr. will almost certainly make weight.

And for the record, I'm rooting for Canelo to win this fight, due to Chavez Jr. receiving two bans for failing drug tests, his lack of dedication to the sport, his performances against Andrzej Fonfara & Martinez, for being outrageously privileged (living off his father’s name & wealth)… and primarily because I would like to see Saul Alvarez finally share the ring with Gennady Golovkin.

I would love JCCJ to stop the diva, but I strongly doubt he can do that, and he is definitely not winning on points.
