It seemed obvious Smith Williams was the fight most were interested in. Say what you like about the merits of Flanagan but bars shutting an hour earlier plus public transport finishing and combine that with a fairly typical wide points win; it's a hard sell.

Big gaps between fights as well. This show wasn't so much a new era as typical of Warren over the past years.
I was there can't disagree with what you are saying.

Big gaps killed the mood inside there was worn out after the smith Williams fight through shouting and the smith brothers disgraceful behaviour. But people were leaving before Terry's fight because again an over run. You would think Frank would have stopped this in BT. Remember Fury v Chusora rematch was on at 1:30 in the morning FFS

Also see people tweeting pictures of the crowd to Eddie Hearnin the hope of getting a like or retweet, what sad pathetic people exist out there.

To be fair I enjoyed most of the fights which is the main thing, but the security was gash and the gaps inbetween fight were staggering.

Lets hope the main events start a bit earlier in future.

After the Williams-Smith fight there was a huge kick off which seemed to empty one large part of the arena.
Also the smith fans throwing either beer/piss or both for a good 15-30 minutes made quite a lot leave in my section.

Me and my mates left going into the 8th rd, it had been a long day. The gap between fights did my head in, especially before bt aired.
Iv never eft a card that early so dometing was off to go with 5rds left.

I think what didn't help was there was a number of early stoppages, even the floaters were both used before the BT show.

Frank admitted himself the card was too big but he had lads that needed to get out, moving forward they'll be smaller cards and better timings.

It's received some harsh press but I enjoyed the majority of the fights, Godding Kelly was excellent, would like to see that again.

For me, it's certainly a step in the right direction. Ticket sales won't be transformed overnight but what was annoying was the amount of morons tweeting Hearn looking for that all important RT or like.

Leicester and Copperbox have sold extremely well so let's judge after those two shows.

Good luck to Frank, hopefully his resurgence is good enough to force Matchroom into more stacked bills.

I thought the production on BT seemed solid, I didn't pay great attention to the details but I liked what I saw. Barry Jones is better than Woodhall mind.

If I were Frank I'd make Flanagan as a co-main eventer next time out, unless he's facing Linares/Lomachenko. People don't mind staying up for fights that intrigue them, Williams/Smith was the real main event.

Should've put the women on last, nobody'd moan cos nobody's interested.

Then the top of the bill fight could've started half an hour earlier.

Not really about the show, but I've just seen this on BT's YouTube. A nice little addition, and something we've not seen from Sky.

It works in the YouTube app on mobile, I'm guessing not on desktop, but I'm not particularly media literate.

You obviously didn't go to Crolla Barroso, the gaps between those fights were an absolute travesty.

I was there last Sat and didn't think the gaps were too bad until the Adams and Flanagan fights.

There was an obviously delay from 8:10 until 8:30 as BT had to come live and selected their fights that they had to screen.

The gaps were long but not painful. The evening inside the arena definitely lacked fluidity though.

I only lost interest when I got covered in piss and beer.
The only really long delay was the Dubois one for BT purposes.
