Why does everything have to be so politically correct these days? What is actually wrong with "especially a speccy Chinese one" It`s not exactly racial abuse is it? What else should you call a Chinese guy?

Or is it the reference to spectacles that bothers you?

It's the obvious implication that a Chinese smart arse is somehow 'worse.' A similar statement might be 'no one likes a cheat, especially a black one'

I doubt Chinese people would find that comment that bad to be honest.

It would be the reference to *nonce* that would offend me, not the white or Yorkshire reference.
