Re: Golovkin to Have Five or Six Fights Before Granting Jacobs Rematch!
It was a close fight, I can see both sides of this.
Jacobs got close enough to want another go
GGG beat him, Jacobs has had his chance, now he looks elsewhere
If the fight was a barn storming view it'd have more chance. It wasn't a memorable watch
Do people here criticise ward and mayweather for not giving rematches? Can't say I've read one of them threads

People are blinded by their own bias, so they criticise Ward and Mayweather without recognising the good things they achieved.Ossyrules wrote:Do people here criticise ward and mayweather for not giving rematches? Can't say I've read one of them threads
So whilst Canelo and Golovkin both refuse to share the ring again with men they scored controversial victories against, both Ward and Mayweather had no problem granting immediate rematches to their beaten foes whenever the outcome of their bouts were contentious.

But if they're not receiving criticism re rematches isn't this a null point? Or am I missing something?Enlightened-One wrote:People are blinded by their own bias, so they criticise Ward and Mayweather without recognising the good things they achieved.Ossyrules wrote:Do people here criticise ward and mayweather for not giving rematches? I like and rate ward and mayweather highly, but I think it's clear where they come for areas of criticism. But no rematches, certainly for mayweather anyway. And ward if the kovalev fight goes through

GGG vs BJS for all mw titles, enough said.

Boxing Fans likely criticize Mayweather and Ward cause they are thought of as boring fighters..Enlightened-One wrote:People are blinded by their own bias, so they criticise Ward and Mayweather without recognising the good things they achieved.Ossyrules wrote:Do people here criticise ward and mayweather for not giving rematches? Asked... whether a rematch with Jacobs was in the forefront of 'GGG' and his promoter at K2, Tom Loeffler's mind, Sanchez stated there were at least three opponents ahead of the American in the pecking order.
"Gennady is fighting in September against somebody, and if it’s Canelo then it will be Canelo, then after that, it will be his 20th defense. Will he stay and do the 21st defense to break Bernard Hopkins’ record? I don’t know if he stays at 160 lbs or if he moves up to 168 lbs before the end of the year or at the beginning of next year."
On a potential move up to 168 pounds, Sanchez added: "The guy who has been talking about fighting him is Gilberto Ramirez, so there are possibilities there. The next three or four fights are really scheduled already, or tentatively scheduled. A Jacobs fight would be five or six fights down the road."
With Saunders, Canelo and Ramirez mentioned as Golovkin's most likely foes by Sanchez, this news comes as a blow to those who say Jacobs deserved a rematch on the back of his efforts last month.
People seem to enjoy criticising fighters like Andre Ward and Floyd Mayweather Jr. to hideously obscene levels, but unlike Canelo & GGG, at least they allow their opponents an immediate shot at redemption whenever their victories are perceived as highly-contentious!
Double-standards? Thoughts?
Why do you copy and paste these articles, and then slip in your little biased opinions of fighters you dont like up. Ive noticed this the past few months. You copy and past articles from some site elsewhere with quotes carefully selected to try undermine the fighter your posting about and then add in your own bit of biased commentary at the end so to reiterate the point that this fighter you dont like is duking, cheating ect. Just post the fuking articles and then post your own opinion separately. Or go do some research and have ingenuity to actually write a well researched piece instead of this shite you constantly post. Anyway its obvious your a sad dickhead and its quite clear who your bias is towards by every post. #letsgotrump

I've said it before but I guinuinely feel Enlightened One is unwell. I've also noticed that when a large majority of people/fans/us respect a particular boxer she adopts the opposite stance. She can claim all she wants that she is a Golovkin fan but clearly...is not. She must go against the masses. She is compelled. Is this part of her sickness? A symptom? I've also noticed that the original stance that she adopts is often the only stance. For example in this post she is expresses the view that this is double standards, bias, and asks for our thoughts. We have provided them, yet she refutes them, aggressively, without taking any on onboard. And there are some that are intelligent and worth being considered. Why ask for our thoughts if her minds already made up? Is that the definition of trolling? Does she want everyone to be convinced by her one sided argument? Or is just looking for an argument? Questions, questions, lots of them, but I will never get a honest answer out of the enlightened one.watsupdoc87 wrote:Enlightened-One wrote:"Golovkin has next three bouts tentatively scheduled, possible opponents named by trainer"

I actually discussed that with fergus a couple years ago. I asked him why he didn't express a desire for a Lara-Canelo rematch, even though he started a thread calling for Smith-Abraham II on the basis of most people having it a competitive fight. He laughably cited a list of media scores in which only 34 percent of people had Canelo winning (the rest was split between a Lara win and a draw), as if that somehow showed that Canelo conclusively deserved to win. He also brought out CompuBox numbers and tried to appeal to the 'prestige' of certain media outlets, suggesting that Dan Rafael's card for Canelo should count for more because he works for ESPN.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:I don't recall an enlightened thread about canelo rematching Lara. It sure seems that CompuBox stats and Rafael's card don't mean much to him when it comes to GGG-Jacobs and Ward-Kov though
Here is the link to the thread, although it's hard to follow because fergie lost his balls one night and got a mod to delete his account (so you only see him in quoted bits) :http://boxrec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f ... r&start=25
