Berto vs Porter

Post by Badhusker »

No thread on this? I got Berto in this one, but wouldn't bet on it. :box:

After 4 rounds Charlo just stalking and walking down Hatley. It's only a matter of time when Charlo catches Hatley again.

Mismatch. By the looks of it Hatley's best win was over a 40 year old Mundine.

Can't see Charlo making this weight for much longer.

easy fight for Charlo.. I think Porter is a level above Berto and it will show.. Either clear UD for Porter or a late TKO for Porter.. Berto has that punchers chance but I think he's out gunned in this one.

I'm thinking porter too. It might be a messy fight though, if Virgil hunter has taught Berto to hold. Still I think porter will be good with that and maul him.

Porter has less mileage on him. Porter is the better fighter.

Porter leading with the head constant.. Think I counted 4 headbutts in the last round, even after the cut.. Ugly fight, but pretty much what I expected. Ref needs to warn Porter of that head though.

I don't like these type of fights at all tbh. It's not toe to toe it's hold and then punch. Kind of stuff that's ruining boxing imo.

Porter cut over both eyes from accidental butts. Berto over one eye accidental butt. Both fighters wild. after 4 it's 3-1 Porter.

Some considering Ward a #1 p4p, so what is wrong with other boxers doing the same thing ?

But when Ward holds he's just being 'crafty'!

I think it's a fun fight to watch.. there are enough exchanges to keep it entertaining.. But def. a ugly fight.

Everything's wrong with it to this extent imo. It's not in the spirit of boxing, it rough housing to the max. It all depends on the ref not the rules. U of everybody knows having Ward p4p 1 is a joke.

I'd give Berto 2 rounds so far. Still out of this ugly fight.

8th round good round for Porter. Finally got some space and landed some telling blows to body while Berto languished on the ropes.

Porter used a lot of energy that last round.. Berto needs to go for it now if he wants any chance of winning.
