Berto vs Porter
Berto vs Porter
No thread on this? I got Berto in this one, but wouldn't bet on it.
Re: Berto vs Porter
After 4 rounds Charlo just stalking and walking down Hatley. It's only a matter of time when Charlo catches Hatley again.
Re: Berto vs Porter
It's over Charlo just KTFO Hatley. 6th round.
Re: Berto vs Porter
That was a scary KO
Re: Berto vs Porter
big right hand from charlo and its goodnight for hatley
Re: Berto vs Porter
Mismatch. By the looks of it Hatley's best win was over a 40 year old Mundine.

Re: Berto vs Porter
Can't see Charlo making this weight for much longer.
Re: Berto vs Porter
easy fight for Charlo.. I think Porter is a level above Berto and it will show.. Either clear UD for Porter or a late TKO for Porter.. Berto has that punchers chance but I think he's out gunned in this one.
Re: Berto vs Porter
I'm thinking porter too. It might be a messy fight though, if Virgil hunter has taught Berto to hold. Still I think porter will be good with that and maul him.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porter is gonna win a lopsided decision
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porter has less mileage on him. Porter is the better fighter.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porters trying to box him...that's not good.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Berto down at the end of rd 2.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porter leading with the head constant.. Think I counted 4 headbutts in the last round, even after the cut.. Ugly fight, but pretty much what I expected. Ref needs to warn Porter of that head though.
Re: Berto vs Porter
I don't like these type of fights at all tbh. It's not toe to toe it's hold and then punch. Kind of stuff that's ruining boxing imo.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porter cut over both eyes from accidental butts. Berto over one eye accidental butt. Both fighters wild. after 4 it's 3-1 Porter.

Some considering Ward a #1 p4p, so what is wrong with other boxers doing the same thing ?lazboy wrote:I don't like these type of fights at all tbh. It's not toe to toe it's hold and then punch. Kind of stuff that's ruining boxing imo.
Re: Berto vs Porter
50-44 Porter after 5 rounds
Re: Berto vs Porter
But when Ward holds he's just being 'crafty'!boxing_rocks wrote:Some considering Ward a #1 p4p, so what is wrong with other boxers doing the same thing ?lazboy wrote:I don't like these type of fights at all tbh. It's not toe to toe it's hold and then punch. Kind of stuff that's ruining boxing imo.
Re: Berto vs Porter
I think it's a fun fight to watch.. there are enough exchanges to keep it entertaining.. But def. a ugly fight.lazboy wrote:I don't like these type of fights at all tbh. It's not toe to toe it's hold and then punch. Kind of stuff that's ruining boxing imo.
Re: Berto vs Porter
seems the ref. is the one looking for way out of hits ugly fight lmao.

Everything's wrong with it to this extent imo. It's not in the spirit of boxing, it rough housing to the max. It all depends on the ref not the rules. U of everybody knows having Ward p4p 1 is a joke.
Re: Berto vs Porter
I'd give Berto 2 rounds so far. Still out of this ugly fight.
Re: Berto vs Porter
8th round good round for Porter. Finally got some space and landed some telling blows to body while Berto languished on the ropes.
Re: Berto vs Porter
Porter used a lot of energy that last round.. Berto needs to go for it now if he wants any chance of winning.
