Bellew vs Haye 2
Bellew vs Haye 2
To his credit, bellew is giving haye the rematch.
How do you guys see it going? Providing Haye comes in fit and can do the rounds without breaking down

To his credit? What because he's going to make another million plus quid????Ossyrules wrote:To his credit, bellew is giving haye the rematch.

Man, if you get me drunk enough I'll suck a dog's dick for a million quid....,, zero credit here
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
He harped on about the rematch pre fight, then post fight it was all about possible retirement. It's good that it's on again to hopefully get a decisive decisionboxingknockout wrote:To his credit? I picked Bellew first time round and i'd pick him again,i just think Haye has had his time.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
Haye if he's fit.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
Same as the first fight. Either Haye wins early or Bellew wins late.

Where else is Bellow going to get a mega payday?
As for Haye coming in fit & not breaking down, that is the bigget 'if' of all-time.
Haye gets injured farting in the bath, so it's doubtful he'll come to the fight without some sort of ready made excuse in case he loses.

Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
No interest in this at all. Bellew got lucky and Haye needs to retire.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
Hayes the biggest money fight, but there were a couple other opportunities mentioned for Bellew post haye Bellew 1.Syntax Error wrote:There's no credit about it.Ossyrules wrote:To his credit, bellew is giving haye the rematch.

It is abig if re Hayes fitness and health. Call a ruptured Achilles as an excuse if you like, or call it a legitimate injury.

Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
The first fight played out well for them both. Both got big money, now they will probably get bigger money to do the rematch!
Bellew has the two paydays instead of the expected one and Haye gets to earn big money against a fairly straight forward opponent ( as opposed to having to risk fighting a beast like Joshua for the big dough )
If fit, Haye wins. As said though, that's a huge if!!!!!

Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
Need to correct this, I've misread and article it's not confirmed! Apologies fight fans!
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
It will happen to much money not for it to happen unless haye can't get fit he's shot to pieces
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
I say apologies fight fans, many will be relieved it's not confirmed after the first fight

Was just gonna say, don't see this reported.
Don't see rematch happening. I think he'll fight Parker/Fury winner.

Parker v Bellew then.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
If Haye's 100% fit (I'm not convinced he was going in to the last fight) then he wins via TKO.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
Haye has already said that he would do it again with the purse split reversed.Ossyrules wrote:To his credit, bellew is giving haye the rematch.
Last time out Haye got £4.2 million, Bellew got £2.8 million.
So turn that around either way.
Re: Bellew vs Haye 2
I would say so. Bellew has said that he will fight in the summer and Haye won't have recovered in time for that.darkstar81 wrote:Parker v Bellew then.

Also, Haye will have to agree to be sat at the press conference when Bellew makes his entranceCrease wrote:Haye has already said that he would do it again with the purse split reversed.Ossyrules wrote:To his credit, bellew is giving haye the rematch.

To his credit!?
Hahaha, it's a licence to print money, who else is Bellew going to fight for that kind of money.
Retirement fight for Haye most likely, I won't be surprised if he comes back into the ring crocked.
If Haye does win, I expect a rubber match.

Bellew's mouth has gotten him into this position as much as his fists.

I thought beating Haye first time round got him into the position of granting him a rematch, still so many not giving Bellew any credit whatsoever for the victory, even if it was tainted somewhat by the injury.darkstar81 wrote:Bellew's mouth has gotten him into this position as much as his fists.
