I didn't find the adverts as cringe as most - most adverts are cringe. Mo Farah's are amongst the worst.
But I did find it weird that they had Joshua in the police station and running from 5-0, I've never seen that in a mainstream ad.
There is such a big narrative everywhere - yes Joshua did some silly things, but he turned his life around, he loves his mum, he is so humble, lives with his mum, is apparoachable and down to earth (even though he didn't acknowledge his son, left the baby mother in a studio flat etc.)
It gets pushed so much that it's nauseating - it makes me think that there is an even bigger skeleton in the closet and that this is all damage limitation in case it ever comes out

Everything is rumour and hearsay until beyond reasonable doubt. But he was definitely remanded and it's said the ABA exerted their influence to get him a pass.
