This is a very strange pick - he's pretty much a perfectly average-sized middleweight. Clearly smaller than previous champs like Hopkins, Taylor and Pavlik, not to mention his most recent opponent.
Ggg is bigger than pavlik or taylor. Look gggs back, shoulders, neck. He looks big and strong at middleweight. He aint taller. But looks bigger to me.
GGG wasn't bigge than the mw he just fought. Brook was more solid than GGG. GGG isn't that big of a MW. He's probably around the size of Winky Wright.

 Are you freaking serious saying GGG is a big MW? Guy has been the smaller guy against most his opponents. Hell, there are guys at 154 lbs. bigger than GGG. These guys might not be breaking records, but here are some notable fighters that looked massive.

Giovani Segura-light flyweight
-Guy looked massive against Calderon. It was insane.

Kell Brook-welterweight
-No idea how he ever made the IBF 10 lb. rehydration limit. He was a massive welterweight, and if this were same-day weigh-ins, he'd be fighting with Golovkin at MW.

Gillermo Jones-cruiserweight
-Whoever brought this dude up, good job. He was so gigantic against Lebedev.

Adrien Broner-super featherweight
-Wow, I have no idea how this dude was making weight.

Terrance Crawford-lightweight
-Guy straight looked gigantic and was coming in gigantic against his opponents at lightweight. Has the frame of a legit welterweight but somehow made 135.

Miguel Berchelt-super featherweight
-This guy makes Adrien Broner look small. He was looking so much bigger than Vargas who is himself a large super featherweight. I think this guy currently might be in the running for too big for his division. He looks like he's a legit-framed 154 lb. fighter, no lie at all here. :OhYes:

Good call on Kudryashov and Gvozdyk. Both dudes are gigantic. I remember seeing a picture of Kudryashov next to Povetkin and he was a lot bigger than Povetkin.

Errol Spence at 147 and Demitrieus Andrade at 154. Both are tall for their weight and walk around in the 170's (Spence) and 180's (Andrade) I think they are 5'10" or 5'11" and 6'1".

Spence, Thurman, Porter and Brook will move up to 154lbs in their later careers

Cant believe Porter started as a middleweight!

What about Gilberto Ramirez at SMW, he looks huge compared to most of his opponents.

Very strange. Also if Tito was huge at 154 why wasn't he the biggest ever seen at 147? He started his career at 140 (i haven't seen any of these fights though).

So there you go.

Tito [/thread]

I was also gong to mention Scott Harrison but someone beat me to it. The only other new one i can think of is maybe Arthur Abraham at MW.

James Toney at 160. He isn't tall at all but even before the fat, he's naturally stocky and weighed 200lbs in high school.

Tarver at 175. Jones moved back down after bulking up and was still considerably smaller. I believe Tarver at 175 was larger than Kovalev.

I don't know if he's been mentioned but Michael Moorer at 175 was pretty big.

Martin Murray isn’t that big. He’s about the same size as GGG, but perhaps an inch or so taller (regardless whatever BoxRec says, the eyeballs tell a completely different story). The difference is trivial.

Martin Murray was dwarfed at 168lbs by George Groves. He was shorter than Gabriel Rosado and Felix Sturm.

I’m not suggesting that the Brit is small, far from it, but there is myth that has been perpetuated that portrays him as a much bigger man than he really is.

I just happened to catch journeyman Antonio Allen on tv losing to Demetrice Williams.

Someones 0 had to go! Allen was 0-5 going in and Williams was 0-2

Allen is a 6'4 light welterweight. Although he has only actually got right down to the limit once

How is Tito the biggest ever at 154, but not bigger than Margarito and Williams at 47? These are the things that make your expertise so hysterical.
