He's managed to sneak in at number 15 with one of them. The WBA, obviously.boxingknockout wrote:Boxrec rankings?Taansend wrote:Was just having a quick butchers at the Heavyweight Top Ten ratings on here & noticed that Mr Jones is number ten.

The WBA have a love affair with Jones. They also kept him CW champ when he hadnt fought in over 2 years.

Re: Guillermo Jones
By changing weightclasses you can get odd rankings, Bellew was also rank 2 or 3 heavyweight or something
Re: Guillermo Jones
There's a couple of Dutch heavyweights turning pro soon. Mitchell Van Hire and Hertz Van Rental. Any goodasdfjkl wrote:By changing weightclasses you can get odd rankings, Bellew was also rank 2 or 3 heavyweight or something

They do step in at a good moment somehow, AJ Klitschko was at RTL 7 (allmost free channel), so who knows boxing might become something in the Netherlands, they are dominating heavyweight kickboxing league for ages now.

Scary thing is that I think he could actually beat one of those guysBitPlayer wrote:Will he go for the WBA regular title?

There's another guy Charlie Snjorter who was meant to be good but he failed a drugs test.asdfjkl wrote:I don't know, sorry.Stuarty30 wrote:There's a couple of Dutch heavyweights turning pro soon. Colombian or Peruvian mate. Can't remember. He's busy enough but a bit of a powder puncher.Taansend wrote:Is he of Colombian heritage?Stuarty30 wrote:There's another guy Charlie Snjorter who was meant to be good but he failed a drugs test.asdfjkl wrote: I don't know, sorry.

I'm sure they'll LINE up some decent opponents for him

Re: Guillermo Jones
It seems like you guys are fully in this kind of world, I'm sorry, but I'm not, the only Dutch heavyweight boxers I know are Tyrone Spong, who could become a top 20 ish heavyweight and Mauricio Junker, who I suggest to become a cruiserweight.PredatorHayds wrote:Best Dutch amateur I've seen in years. There are somehow a lot of people around with much potential, but who don't seem to be interested in boxing.
I don't know any of the guys you're fan of, but since he failed a drugs test, it doesn't surprise me I've never heard of him, such guys don't deserve any attention in my opinion, only in America and Brittain they might get.

One of the clauses of his second drugs ban was that he could only fight again as a heavyweightTaansend wrote:Was just having a quick butchers at the Heavyweight Top Ten ratings on here & noticed that Mr Jones is number ten.

Snjorter's got no movement, though. Just backwards and forwards in straight lines. He's a bit of a flake.Stuarty30 wrote:He nose what's he's doing that's for sure.PredatorHayds wrote:Best Dutch amateur I've seen in years. He's a A class fighter.Stuarty30 wrote:

Still, at least he's white.
