Wilder vs AJ would be a fantastic fight. Two power guys that don't clinch and are hittable. I think it would come down to who was busier late in the fight.

I would love that fight. I think Joshua would be favored by 2-1. Wilder has a bigger gas tank, but to me it is a 50-50 fight. Both can throw bombs. Personally I would give Wilder the edge if they fight. A lot of people think AJ has a better skill set, but he has to improve his stamina or Wilder will stop him if it goes late. AJ's best chance is to stop Wilder early, which could happen too. I am guessing it will be sometime next year.

Nightmare Roy wrote:AJ should get him in the ring ASAP, I'm convinced it will be a 2 round demolition job and he should do it before Wilder loses to one of the average guys he's been picking. He was ringside and doing commentary for the Klit fight, if he really wanted it he should have made a bit of noise and called him out there and then with millions watching, I don't think he really fancies it.
He decided Tony Bellew would be the better choice :OhYes:
That's really not a bad fight actually. If WK agrees to the rematch then Wilder's easiest money maker is fighting Bellew in England. That's an easy fight for Wilder and he builds some clout overseas setting up a fight next year with AJ at Wembley. I bet Wilder/Bellew fight does very well actually.
I could not care less what fight is the easiest money maker for someone unless it's a fighter near the end of their career. I'd rather see Wilder fight someone in the top 20 of his own division than somebody on the back end of their career who is a division or two smaller when actually in shape.

I know. That should be the way all of us fans should feel about it's champions these days but most of us our conditioned to expect the money grab fights first over defending against deserving opponents these days. Honestly, we could say the same about AJ fighting WK. I think that AJ's handlers felt that have a way easier time dispatching the 41 year old Wlad who hadn't fought for almost 2 years. On paper, that's a horrible defense as well.
