Obviously styles make fights, but to say you cant gauge fighters based on their performances against the same fighter is not true. The difference in performance against the same opponent was so vast that in this case you can actually use it as a bench mark.
So seriously in your eyes you watched the BJS Eubank fight and fought it was a clear and easy win for BJS?
I mean yeah I agree its a comical comment, but to suggest that there are fighters out there avoiding BJS is verging on insanity let alone comedy.
I thought Bill underestimated Eubank - not how you saw it & Jnr underestimated Bill - And therefore he made it harder for himself. He had it hard in places yea, & Jnr did give him a good fight, but Bill was by far the better boxer & the better man
Jnr was left lunging & looking silly during the fight
I've never said anyone is avoiding Bill?
& Jnr did have all the things he needed to make his rematch happen, but instead the man seems content to keep writing sh*t on social media pages & posting vids on Snapchat yelling whilst hitting bags that mean nothing becos bags don't hit bag & sparring people that don't seem to be pushing him much
Jnr doesn't seem too phased to want to be fighting anybody atm & imo is fast becoming irrelevant
He pretended he didn't know who Jamie Cox is which is b.s., he couldlve had a fight there for one thing but didn't & he couldlve has his GGG fight he spoke so much about but him & his father are deluded & ruin everything
I guess your not a fan. We both have complete opposite views on this one which is fine. I think Eubank possesses all the tools to go on and be a decent world champion. I feel his choice to go it alone and promote himself is what is holding back to be honest. In terms of speed, power and skill I really think he is one of our best prospects, yet no one seems to like him for personal reasons.
I see it complete opposite, BJS turned up on the night focused with a game plan and to me looked like he was concentrating more then any other fight I had seen him up until that point.
Eubank refused to have a corner man and literally didn't fight for 6 rounds. Sorry I think your mistaken on who underestimated who on this one, but we will agree to disagree.
Yeah you didn't say anyones dodging BJS, because you seem like reasonable and smart guy, but it is the title of this thread. so thats what I was talking about.
In terms of lunging, on the cards it was a close split. Eubank almost certainly landed the heavier shots throughout the fight and it was definitely a tale of two halves in which I agree BJS came out on top. To not give Eubank any credit in this performance I think maybe shows some favoritism. But you are clearly a BJS fan and I am not so makes sense. He was wild in the second half admittedly, but he had lost every round up to that point and had to find a knockout or do something to get back it in. I think that explains his desperation little. After the first 6 round all BJS had to was move on not get hit. Something he actually failed at as he was hit repeatedly and the fight went on to be a split decision..... after winning the first 6.
The snapchat reasons for example, I find this a particularly strange point. Yes a lot of his snap chat or social media stuff is having fun, nothing bad, just like by a pool or riding quad bikes or on holiday. Not like drinking or partying. But the majority of it is of him training, showing that whilst he isn't getting any good fights atm he is still training and tbh he looks really sharp in all his training videos.
The guy gets so much hatred on these videos all pretty much about BJS even today. I have no idea what peoples problem with him is.
Does BJS even train during inactive periods? The Akavov performance suggests not to me....
I think he needs a big win before GGG anyway and whilst I agree his lack of events is hindering him I do feel if he keeps winning in explosive style, even if Britain snubs him as they are, America will give him a shot as he is exciting and possesses bags of natural talent.
