No actually it's not.

Kamegai has at least 10-15% chance. McGregor doesn't have more than 5%.

I agree with that, I'd still rather see Mayweather vs McGregor. I think it'll be quite amusing to see a current UFC Champion in 2 weight classes get absolutely pasted by a retired boxer.

More amusing than seeing Cotto box his way to a foregone conclusion against Kamegai.

I agree, it might be a circus... but who doesn't like the circus? :maybe:

Giving McGregor 0% isn't fair. After all, Mayweather could suddenly have a heart attack.

Never say never.

I don't think that would be enough.

ESPN reporter Dan Rafael asks UFC’s Dana White if there is any specific language in the contract that would make McGregor pay a hefty price should he opt to throw a kick, elbow, or Vulcan death grip at Floyd Mayweather in the heat of battle.

“That will not happen!” White said during the conference call. “First of all, obviously, that is absolutely in the contract, number one. And number two, this is a boxing match under the Nevada State Athletic Commission, under the rules of boxing, and I mean, when you talk about a guy of Floyd Mayweather’s level and value in the sport and things like that, I mean, the lawsuit if that ever happened would, you know - Conor likes money, man, and Conor would [part with a lot of money] if that were to ever happen. So, yeah, that will not happen!”

Mayweather's chances of suffering a heart attack during the fight are 1 in a googolplex.. Meaning you'll grow 3 new heads in a minute before that happens -- and I think you'd be a little surprised if you did that all of a sudden.

Mayweather could suffer a debilitating injury of some kind or another... That happens... Or he could get caught with a lucky punch... That happens... If you get in your car and take off for work you'll most likely make it there... If you don't??? That's about the same chance McGregor has.

I give Conor an extremely slim chance. He is an athletic, strong, big, tricky southpaw who does know how to punch. I expect him to get schooled. But, if one of those left hands lands, it could KO Floyd. I highly doubt it will land, but his unorthodox style could help it land at some point. 0% chance is a bit extreme IMO. That's giving Floyd a 100% chance at taking the win. The only thing in this world that can be predicted with 100% accuracy is that we are all going to die. I give him a <5% chance. I feel Floyd is going to be cautious at the onset then settle in rather quickly and completely blow Conor out.

There ya go. I mean injury is it and an injury that Floyd can't fight with. I'd be much more intrigued if Conor was fighting sugar ray Leonard.

It's basically a rewrite of the film "The Great White Hype"

Potential to have the same result as the it did in the film.

I think the two showmen competing on August 26th will somehow I find a way to give the people what they want, one way or another.

I am already sick of the people complaining about this one. Don't buy and don't watch it, it's the that simple. Don't tell me who Floyd should be fighting instead because Floyd wouldn't have come back for anything but this side show spectacle money grab. I think that's it's going to be a blast and I'm sure that Conor is going to be funny in there. The only thing negative that i'll say is that Floyd shouldn't get credit for #50 in this one. But it's just fun...look at it that way for goodness sake. We all know that Floyd is going to win and it will very interesting to see how easily he wins. For once, we see what one of the best boxers in the world does to the best UFC fighter.

Does GBP still have a piece of the Mayweather pie? Is this an attempt to torpedo his business?
GBP was an employee of Floyd.

Al Haymon gets paid on fights.

The UFC profit margins have to be quite high and they will make the 4 billion back much sooner than you project. I think their last Fox deal was for 900 million(don't recall the exact figure), their next TV deal will be even bigger.

GBP created Floyd. The "Money" Floyd, that is.
