Andre Ward won fair and square

Post by IronFrost »

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vuShrjyKBVk

The only one shot was "LOW" and it was that last and it was not even to the balls. Kovalev said it was "BORDELINE",

Also check 8th round ? Ward landed two LEGIT bodyshots and Kovalev started WHINNING like a puppy? What the fornicate?

Someone who complains about legit bodyshots / gasses out and getting rocked badly and does not defend himself is not VICTIM OF THE ROBBERY.

That was discussed in 50 different threads here. There was no need for a new one.

The truth has to come out . Kovalev got rocked more than twice with LEGIT BODYSHOTS and Kovalev started COMPLAIN LMAO.

-Kovalev got rocked by legit body shots and started complain (Weeks even laughed on him because it was a pure ACT)
-Kovalev gassed out and would likely lose anyway
-Kovalev did not even defend himself and that was his mistake
-Kovalev hisemlf said that it was "bordeline". So the jokes about "nuttcracker" Ward by his haters are rather than terrible.
-This time it was Kovalev who got rocked several times and was HURT
-Golovkin , Abel Sanchez and many others had no problem with the result

EVEN KOVALEV SAID WARD WAS THE BETTER MAN IN THE REMATCH .

And yes it was pretty early stoppage and they robbed Ward of more legit TKO victory.

This stoppage was terrible because Kovalev wanted it no more. He started complain about legit bodyshots and was hurt more than once.

Weeks saw everything and he even laughed when Kovalev started ACTING and whinning.

Also Kovalev did not defend himself for more than 30 seconds after being rocked badly.

It's Kovalev's fault in some case

Also i can agree the first fight could be easily scored for Kovalev. Same goes for Golovkin Jacobs.

That's why i do not complain about close fights. Those two rounds make a difference tho

BULLCRAP!!! Kovalev complained about low blows throughout and Ward had already been warned and point deducted for VERY low blows.. He should have been DQ'd for the last flagrantly low blow.. Those shots are debilitating..

This video shows how corrupt Tony Weeks is and how this was an absolute conspiracy... Every referee is taught that punches below the navel line are LOW BLOWS. The referee pointed to an area well below Kovalev's navel line and said "this is okay right here" which was bullcrap. Ward wasn't looking at Week's hand however, he was engaged in a stare-down with Kovalev.

Over the weekend Adam Lopez was severely warned for punches right on the navel line... Technically those are low blows although all the commentators said, "What the Hell is the referee doing??? Those aren't low blows." Those ARE low blows. I just wouldn't have harassed Lopez for them because they were "borderline" low blows and you don't want to be a ticky-tack referee calling tons of fouls.. However Ward delivered many punches well below the navel line.. You are NOT allowed to punch an opponent on the "waistband" which can be 6 inches thick or more.. NOBODY practices defending punches that low because they're illegal. Ward's punches even went below the waistband.

Let's get something straight... The waistband can be wide or narrow and has NOTHING to do with human anatomy.. ANY punch below the navel line is a low blow and Ward repeated went low.. He's never done this before.. It had to be planned.. Boxing is corrupt and the 2 Kovalev-Ward fights are great examples.

Are you retard? Watch that video i've posted and skip it to 3:46. Those shots were not "low blows" and they did hurt Kovalev. And he tried to walk away from being hurt

And funny no one said a word about Kovalev and his pury comedy acting , headlocks and rabbit punches :D :D Those double standards against "boring fighters".

No one complained here also about Maidana cheating against Floyd.

Pathetic

YOU'RE pathetic with your double standards.. Kovalev did no egregious fouls. Ward had carte blanche in 2 straight fights to foul as he wished.

Floyd throws elbows -- but Maidana was allowed to fight dirty in their 1st fight and I talked about it.. Floyd's personal referee sowed that up in the rematch.

Look brainless...that was a deliberate low punch and should have been a point deduction. They selected that punch for this video because it wasn't as egregiously low as many others Ward threw -- but ANY punch below the navel line is low... Where in the rules and regs does it say punches on the foul protector or on the waistband are legal??? Grow a brain and a pair of eyes and stop watching videos that have an agenda of excusing corrupt officials.

It's hilarious to me how upset people get with this topic and I think it will be that way in ten years when we look back at this one. Kovalev broke my heart in this one because I was really pulling for him but I can't bring myself to discredit Ward for the win. Ward clearly won the fight. I hated the ending...Weeks absolutely blew it. Yes Kovalev stopped fighting but so did Ward when Kovalev did that. It happened twice in the fight and Ward stopped punching both times which i thought was admirable.

Weeks should have called it a knockdown, give Kovalev a standing count and then ask him if he could continue...look in his eyes and see where his head is at. This was too big of a fight to make a premature call like that especially when Kovalev was not receiving a lot of damage. Ward stopped punching prior to Weeks stopping the fight. DUMB. But Ward was getting the KO either way.

Really? What is your former screen name? If you were around then, you would know that I complained about Weeks being a "weak" ref, and how dirty Maidana was. Regardless, time to move on.
