This is the after the fight excuses which will be peddled by people - only pre-fight
A lot of UFC nuts who believe McGregor now and are placing there bets on McGregor by tko/ko in 2 rounds or 4 rounds will be crawling beneath the woodwork after the fight saying such things as:-
"McGregor will knock Floyd out in the cage"
"McGregor game him hell for a few rounds and his stamina packed in because he usually trains to be explosive"
Both could well be very true^^^
But sane people acknowledge this fact already and it will only dawn on the unsuspecting masses early Sunday morning.
McGregor has no chance.... Not even a punchers chance.
Yes you heard that correct - he doesn't hit as hard as Cotto, Marquez, Hatton, Corrales, De La Hoya or Canelo - I could probably add another dozen names to that list too. Maidana, Judah etc.
He has no technique for boxing, if he could - he would have been a boxer. He isn't.
This fight is all about the paycheck, his biggest purse is around $4m, he will probably get around $70-80m for this fight. He would have to fight 20 fights in the UFC at $4m a fight to generate that wealth. Good on McGregor!
He has to sell the fight obviously - but please, please don't try and convince me this is any type of contest.
The fight pans out like this, McGregor rushes Floyd for 2-4 rounds, gets countered to pieces. His little brain finally realises he can't continue to rush Floyd anymore.... He back offs, try's to get the moral victory by lasting the distance or Floyd puts his foot on the accelerator, pushes for the stoppage and McGregor either gasses, gets pulled out by his corner or the ref does a mercy stoppage and its called a tko.
All depends if Floyd carries him after he shoots his bolt going for the hail-Mary in the first 4 rounds.
I could have written this on the Sunday morning!
