Why wouldcs drug dealer sell drugs to kids? Kids dont have any money. Drug dealers sell drugs to people who want to buy them. Yourd living inbs 1970s movie cliche if you believe drug dealers hsng around schools encouraging kids to do drugs.

Personally i find homophobic rants far more morally repugnant than someone knocking out a bitof weed or coke
By kids I mean teenagers.

Someone like him would certainly use kids (14,15,16 year olds as runners), a stones throw from Champs Camp in Moss Side for example you'll find plenty of very young looking lads cycling round the estate at all hours.

Homophobic rants might offend those with delicate sensibilities more but facilitating peoples' addiction to dangerous substances is of course far more damaging to the addicts and society in general
Is there any evidence he did any such thing though?

Pretty sad when you think theres been 1,000 tickets sold for parker v fury. A good solid fight. And yet mayweather v mcgregor broke record sales with pretty much an exhibition. Its pretty much boxings own fault. Guys like fury should have been offering to fight on tv for next to nothing in the early days. People never look at the bigger picture. All about getting publicity to start with.

I don't know of any, however it is the done thing in those circles.

He was caught with 8oz of weed. I'd be surprised if he was going to split that amount into little bags and lumber his giant frame around Watford's estates dozens and dozens of times.

The desperation to equate Tyson 'gays should be killed' Fury with Anthony 'he had a bit of weed on him' Joshua is absolutely mental to be fair.

Yeah bang on mate.

One uttered a harmless throwaway line with no actual consequences to it whilst the other was convicted of intending to supply a significant amount of illegal drugs which will harm the users and society in general.

8oz is a one level up from street dealer amount. I don't know what London prices is for an oz, I bet it is about £250? So to have £1300 worth for a young fella with no job is quite serious.

8 oz of weed is sod all. The fact he was carrying it around in a gym bag suggests he was far from being some criminal kingpin. 8 oz is only worth about 1500 quid. Small potatoes.

This is exactly what I'm talking about.

A guy advocating killing people and suggesting gay guys are as bad as child molesters, but it's all just a bit of banter. I'm not offended on anyone's behalf by the way; he has the right, as evidenced, to say what he likes, just as I (and the wider public) have the right to say he's an arsehole.

As for drugs, legalise the lot I say. I don't smoke weed but I can't say with a straight face that it does any more damage than smoking standard fags or indeed drinking alcohol.

Yeah depending on quality 200-250 an oz.

The idea that such comments are harmless coming from high profile figures, is to say the least simplistic.

A lot of boxers, including some past heavyweight champions and challengers, have been convicted of various offences throughout history.
AJ's crime is pale in comparison to some.

Fvck all ?! Jesus, maybe I've led a sheltered life.

He was no kingpin but with that amount he's not buying it for him and his mates who have a party coming up at the weekend. He's got a few runners doing the work for him and he's probably selling 25 bags an oz i.e it's a criminal enterprise shifting hundreds of bags every few days.

I've smoked weed on and off for long periods of my life and all my friends aren't ABC1 churchgoers but only 2 friends of mine have ever bought a 9bar. Other people I have encountered who buy 9 bars are undesirables, criminal types.

Whats a 9 bar? Is that 1/2 lb?
Your right though 8oz is heaps. Isn't it funny we have been metric for 40+ years and weed is still imperial?

Are you still living in 1950 or something? When combined with your 'does Canelo bat left-handed' thread, it certainly seems that you are.

The real problem with AJ getting caught with 8oz of weed is that he was being well paid by Team GB and the National Lottery to concentrate on boxing and win medals. It was an incredibly stupid thing to do and he was treated extremely leniently both by the courts and by Team GB. The parallels with Tyson is that both acts were rooted in stupidity whilst being true to their backgrounds.

I don't think most people would really have a problem with AJ dealing weed in the past if he didn't present himself as Mother Teresa's mentor. People have more problem with him being fake than being a former dealer.

What i mean is that sort of amount is pretty trivial in terms of criminal activity. Of course he may have been supplying it to another dealer.

I see with my own eyes lads aged 13 / 14 riding around on their bikes till the early hours.

Maybe they have just taken up cycling as a hobby? - 2012 legacy and all that?

You must be kidding. The Klitschko fight was incredibly dull and an embarrassment to heavyweight boxing.
Not quite. It was incredibly dull the moment the final bell rang but whilst it was on screen and live it was riveting as everyone knew that one shot from Wlad might end the fight at any moment.
Nobody would rewatch it but whilst it was happening it was great.

It makes you question their business acumen. With the current landscape and how easy it is to illegally stream fights, it really makes you wonder.

I reckon it will struggle to break 50k PPV buys. Neither of them are commodities in the UK boxing landscape.

A 9 is one 1/4 of a kg. With a good round, it's easy to shift within a few days. I'm open about it, I've never smoked, but sold. It's not £250 either... Not unless you're stupid. Amsterdam quality, £180 max on 18oz.
