I agree. If Usyk wins I cant see how he's not in the cruiser ATG discussion.
Right now, after only 13 fights, he is #2 ATG CW (only Holy is above him).

If anything, he's overrated here. I don't think he is, clearly a top 15 fighter in the world. But we have our JIP's and Valmar's that have him as a God.
Skillset - 10/10
Stamina - 10/10
Chin - 10/10
Cojones - 10/10
Punch power - 8/10
Am I wrong ?
Yes, you're brutally wrong.

Whoever wins. This thing is stacked. Wonder if Huck is done though. He just doesn't have it for these skilled guys. Still tough as nails and can land with authority but can't do much versus a sustained attack.
Smart move on Usyk's part to choose Huck, a quick, skilled, southpaw would always be a horrible match up for him.

I'm always serious. The one glaring issue is the 8/10 in power. He's more like a 5. The 10's across the board in the rest of the categories is a bit premature. You have him rated top 25 alltime in any weight class.

I hope we'll be alive and healthy next year, and we'll see whether I am right or wrong.

Best place to showcase his talent too. The Germans always pack the house for Huck.

Usyk is great but his lack of power in his punches would be a huge problem if he moves to HW - bigger, taller, stronger fighters will attack him with no respect because Usyk don't have that pop to bring that respect in HW.

Huh? Next year we'll know that Usyk is the greatest fighter of all time if he wins this tourney?

I think he could outbox someone like Parker, but he'd be best to stay away from big hitters at the top.

He's got CW business first anyway

Let us enjoy ! IMHO Usyk might be top 5 pfp, and Huck is an old, experienced lion, from Balkan. :TU:
Usyk is only 2 years younger than Huck. Huck has had a lot of wars though.
Huck is so limited, and he was stopped by equally limited Polish guy.

Oh, got you, he can't beat Joshua. He could outbox him for a period until he gets smashed. He couldn't beat Wilder. Well, I shouldn't say couldn't, if he has the Heavyweight chin of Hagler he'd school Wilder. One thing I'll give you, he'd dominate Fury.

Huck isn't a master of diversity and creativity of course, but next to Usyk everyone looks limited.

Why compare a heavyweight with a cruiserweight?

Huh? He's going to move up. Fair enough, Holyfield would beat him soundly at Cruiser.

Yeah, it's not like we are talking about some great shakes here. There's barely a top 5 at HW. Some of the best HWs are fighting at Cruiser.

Question? Is povetkin a powerful puncher?

Did pov tko huck?

Did usyk tko huck?

Who lacks power, or does nobody lack power and huck just has a good chin & stamina?

Huck beat Povetkin as far as I'm concerned. Usyk lacks power, great boxer though. Holyfield would have stopped this version of Huck inside 3 rounds.

Sorry, no, Povetkin is not a big puncher.

Usyk = "A-"
Huck = "C+"

The smartest threat to Usyk are Briedis and Wlodarczyk.

Fury is no more active boxer, if yes it would be 50/50 type of fight (the same case Fury-Joshua and Usyk-Joshua, of course fit Fury, and it is difficult to imagine). Ortiz, Wilder, fit Haye would be 60/40 Usyk.

Usyk isnt a big puncher who lays people out, but he clearly get his opponents' respect.

Nobody knows if he Moves up. Right now he is cleaning out the division, a division which never looked any better than right now.
