We already know what would happen.
If Monroe's rating would be a 70, BJS would be a 74.

We already seen GGG walk down and stop Murray, Macklin, Geale and Lemiux.
BJS is worse than those 4 guys. Clearly worse.

He'd have virtually no chance.

Big KO. He's not at the level. Lemiuex should be all over a Saunders fight, it's a virtual guaranteed title.

Yes, Lemieux is far from a world beater. Saunders would be his best win by a good bit.

I wouldn't expect Saunders to beat Golovkin, Alvarez, Jacobs, or Charlo.

Saunders didn't really beat Lee. How can he beat the pressure machine (at least for the first 5 rounds) like Lemieux ? I am not even sure that he could beat Khurt.

2% chance, like if he had a fast start and was 3-1 up after 4 then head clash stops fight and it goes to the cards

He did beat Lee, Lemieux is not a pressure machine. Khurt is a pressure machine, Lemieux is a guy with some pop and minimal skills. Lee could beat Lemiuex too.

A tedious debacle against an unworthy challenger that GGG cut down like a hot knife through butter.

A fair assessment. I watched it. It was nothing to write home about but at least the decision was above reproach.

There was a post fight apology from Saunders' young lad who took the mike to apologize to Monroe "Sorry I kicked you in the nuts". It brings tears to your eyes. Getting kicked in the nuts I mean, not the kid's apology - that didn't even seem sincere :D

No chances against Golovkin. That's why BJS ducking GGG and wants so much money for this fight.

Anyway, Saunders will have to face (sooner or later) a dangerous opponent. He had better fight GGG or Canelo ( lose fight and make money).

Since the start of 2016, Saunders has had failed negotiations/fights fallen through with the likes of Canelo Alvarez (twice), Gennady Golovkin (twice) Avtandil Khurtsidze, Gabriel Rosado, Chris Eubank Jr. and even David Lemieux recently announced that he is disinterested in facing the WBO champion, due to having bigger fish to fry.

Based on my analysis of the readily-available real-world evidence, none of these situations were caused by Saunders or his team.

Yet people insist on criticising the calibre of opposition that Billy Joe Saunders has faced? :KO:

I suppose Golovkin will be very proud if he become undisputed MW champion, so, his motivation to face Saunders (ASAP) might be very strong.
