Incredible to see Fury in such poor shape for the biggest fight of his life. I've seen Parker in much better shape too.

I thought that too. Parker looks a stone overweight and fury a stone under with little or no muscle definition. I know its not a weight lifting or body building contest but surely with the right diet and conditioning and exercise you will at least look the part.

What a bag of mess ! With all the prep time he's had there is no excuse to look in such bad shape
I know physique isn't everything but... I reckon i could 'look' in better shape then Fury within ~3months while working full time :-?
He looks skinny but bloated. Skin still looks inflamed to me thats not left over scarring.

Team Fury should probably stop with the Rocky style shit, especially if Hughie has autoimmune disorders ruining his health.... He desperately needs a good sports science team, nutritionist, strength and conditioning coach etc...

People say this to justify athletes turning up in poor shape.

Hughie is in shape, he will never look defined.

Looking defined is one thing. Not having a pot belly is another.

The physique issue comes up a lot.
A man doesn't have to look like a bodybuilder to be fighting fit, however a body that has been trained to be strong and fit and ready to box at a world championship level generally looks better than Hughie looks here.
Off the top of my head I'd say Calzaghe is an excellent example of a physique that never looked super muscular but he always looked fit and healthy.
I was a little surprised by how Parker looks too. He has big strong, typically 'southern hemisphere' muscular frame but looks a little softer around the edges than I have seen him in the past.

Yeah, he looks horrible. No way that is top condition. His gut is made to look worse with no muscle tone at all.

His skin looks as bad as ever too. There was a picture of him in the latest Boxing News/Monthly, can't recall which, chopping a log in half and his acne looked absolutely shocking.

To be fair we have decent seats. But the lad behind me who has just paid on the night paid £40. My seat is £65.
