But Spilkva was supposed to be the 2nd coming until Jennings and then Wilder knocked him out.

Povetkin and Ortiz can't get the needle out of their asses, so this isn't all Wilder's fault.
What the eff are you talking about? Szpilka struggled badly with Mike Mollo twice before even fighting Jennings. The second coming? Utter bullshit.

Szpilka got drubbed by Jennings too, and even stopped despite BJ's lack of power.

But Wilder's comp hasn't been nearly as bad as some like to paint it. PPL will poo on it then rate him as #2 or #3 in the division. His early opposition was so utterly bad and needlessly overmatched that there's lingering hate and bias from that.
I probably should have been more clear. I didn't think Spilkva was the 2nd coming, but some people did. He was one of the names that was supposed to be the successor to the Klitschko, as many thought only Eastern Europeans would rule the HW division. I don't want to be unclear again. That was the opinion of some people, not my opinion. I agree that Wilder's recent opponents haven't been all that bad. Ok, Arreola was a bit washed up.
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE of his title challengers has NOT been ranked in the Top 10 at the time Wilder fought them.

EVERY. SINGLE. ONE!

I have no f#cking doubt that if Wilder would pick Charles Martin next, Martin's anti-doping test results would be super negative.

Whatever hype there was two wars with Mike Mollo should've made it clear that the Polish pinhead wasn't all that. If those didn't, then you have his one-sided stoppage loss to Jennings. This was all before he stepped into a ring with Wilder.

But even then, if you add up the contenders and fringe contenders on Wilder's record there's very few HWS who can match his resume. People overestimate just how much the other guys have done. The supposed King, AJ, really only has one standout fight. You're not seeing heavyweights with depth and quality these days.

I don't recall there EVER being a time when Szpilka was a heavily hyped Heavyweight contender.

"we want wilder's head and only wilder's head! down with the bum beater!!"

"where do you rank him?"

"top 2 or 3. and he probably wouldve beaten ortiz to. but that's because ortiz became old."

There is no mystery, he's going to have to fight stiverne or pay him again. Hilarious all these threads about the evil wilder and nobody is pissed at Ortiz. The usual suspects aren't surprising, but damn Gil. Wilder is like an irrational drug for you, you should try to quit. Don't like you looking so stupid.

If he's serious about the AJ fight, he should fight Whyte, if he does a number in him it sets him up nicely for AJ in the new Mecca of boxing which is the UK :box:

Yeah, Ortiz has totally wasted his talent.

It's funny how people go on and on about WIlder fighting bums, considering how bad most of the Ortiz's opponents have been, out of 29 fights, 7 opponents with losing records, 12 with double digit losses, 6 with single digit wins, and a further one on their debut.

The people with decent looking records there's

Malik Scott
44 year old Tony Thompson
a 38 year old who's loss came against Irineu Beato Costa Junior
Lateef Kayode a cruiserweight (Ortiz tested positive)

Jennings is the only decent one

Some other highlights include Henry Saenz and Alex Gonzales, both former Light Heavyweights.

I hope your not right. But as soon as this fight was announced the whole Povitkin drama was going through my mind.
Shall we call it Washington Syndrome?
Bah!
First Wilder fight I was looking forward to and wanting Wilder to win.

Spare your mind the racing, he'll be fighting stiverne. Otherwise he'd have to pay stiverne another step aside fee.

He will fight someone he has total control of. Thats certainly not Whyte. Perhaps someone like dehydrated party boy Stiverne. Someone who turns up only for paycheck.

Really? Wilder actually did what I predicted he would do like 10 times, if not more for months and months in a row?
Let me guess, they also used the same lab that was actually suspended when I predicted it?
