That was an awful stoppage and these garbage announcers aren't even questioning it.

It was definitely a premature stoppage, and I'm surprised they didn't make mention of that.

LMAO, they don't seem to see the mask of blood on Gutierrez face either.

Mares completely outclassing Gutierrez. Looks like Gutierrez is probably gonna last the distance, but Mares is outboxing him thoroughly.

Gutierrez's eye is bleeding a hell of a lot worse now.

I'm having a hard time staying awake. Luckily an even bigger mismatch is next!

That went on a few rounds longer than it needed to. That's a bad cut above the eye.

Mares looked sharp, but Gutierrez was out of his depth.

The Jr. Middleweight card should be more competitive.

Yeah. I watched a few rounds of Gutierrez about a week ago, and I thought to myself. "He's too stiff, Mares is gonna outbox him easy". That's how it went down.

I picked Mares to win a decision, but I had the feeling that cut was gonna cause the stoppage when it got opened so early in the bout.

He split it open bad there in the 10th.

Ok...they went to the scorecards for some reason. I assumed Mares would've won by TKO since the cut was clearly opened by a punch.

That was weird, of course nothing from the telecast. Mora is in love with Robert Garcia.

Real weird. Maybe they didn't want a stoppage loss on Gut's record.

I hope you're right. Santa Cruz doesn't tend to be a big banger though.

Had a pretty decent bet on Mares to win on points with Bet Bright and they've settled it as a loser. How can they claim it was a TKO win when scorecards were read out?
