Parker and Wilder fight each other to unify belts then they should get 50/50’split imo

No he isn't.Kalan wrote:YES he IS... Since Fury is currently NOT fighting and apparently has no intention of fighting soon... Stiverne beat a setup to win his Heavyweight Championship -- a fat guy he'd already beaten very easily previously.. Stiverne could never compete with Wilder... Parker beat fat guy Ruiz to win his title... And he didn't really win that fight.. And who has Parker ever fought besides Takam, who also beat him on my card???

aj has the better resume, far bigger drawing power, more belts. wilder doesnt deserve 50-50 by any good measure. aj is also like 5 years younger or something and has more time to work with.
and parker, lol, just no, although i dont see anyone saying he should get an even split or close to it. heard hes gonna fight fujimoto in japan on new years eve? seems like the right fight for him when you look at how he struggles with anyone decent. guess hes just keeping the belt warm until he gets enough money to be easily ko'd in a unification by wilder or josh.

Hearn: "Wilder wants $7 mil? I want 11-inch penis. No chance!"

That doesn't sound unreasonable. 7 damn sure isn't close to 50/50. Eddie is more worried about Wilder than Joshua is. That's for sure.

This. 7 mil sounds like a pretty accurate expectation, AJ clearly going to be making much more than that. Hearn needs to step back a little, he's making himself look foolish.SaadOffTheDeck wrote:That doesn't sound unreasonable. 7 damn sure isn't close to 50/50. He only wants the fight if he can have Wilder. Deontay doesn't make he or AJ any more money than anyone else. Maybe a little bit, but nothing worth the risk. So all of this Wilder hate around here, but Hearn is desperate to have him in the fold. Ironically, I wish Wilder would sign with him, but he's loyal to how he got there.punchoutsb wrote:This. 7 mil sounds like a pretty accurate expectation, AJ clearly going to be making much more than that. FFS guys! Learn how to do some research.jamamb wrote:ya $7m doesnt seem so unreasonable does it?
Deontay Wilder asked for a minimum purse of $7m to face Dillian Whyte. He'll inevitably ask for more than double that amount to fight Anthony Joshua.

Correct.. He did ask for 7 vs. Whyte..Ossyrules wrote:Wilder wanted 7 to face Whyteboxing_rocks wrote:Hearn: "Wilder wants $7 mil? I want 11-inch penis. No chance!"

Joshua, he is going to want more. I think no more than $4 million would be acceptable vs. Whyte..

I thought 3 mil was good money for wilder personally! He was never getting 7 to face himRuthless-RKO wrote:Correct.. He did ask for 7 vs. Whyte..Ossyrules wrote:Wilder wanted 7 to face Whyteboxing_rocks wrote:Hearn: "Wilder wants $7 mil? I want 11-inch penis. No chance!"

Re: Hearn: Wilder, Parker Do Not Warrant a 50-50 Split With Joshua!

Wilder's request for $7m to face Whyte has already been mentioned numerous times in this thread, as well as several other threads posted to this forum.jamamb wrote:if that for whyte, then nope. btw mate thx for letting me know. i mean why would i take my finite time to look that up when i can rely on someone else to do it for me? thx mate

$5 million in court back in Feb..
http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/other-spor ... y-decision
based on the purse bid for the fight, and Wilders 70%, he was due to earn at least $4,504,500, a career-high payday

Re: Hearn: Wilder, Parker Do Not Warrant a 50-50 Split With Joshua!
I’m not sure if Deontay Wilder has received any payment yet from the lawsuit, since legal proceedings appear to be ongoing. What I’ve read is that the money is still in escrow.jamamb wrote:did he ever get that povetkin money or is that still in court
Four weeks ago, a New York court denied Andrey Ryabinsky's WOB’s “Motion for Judgment as a Matter of Law or in the alternative, a New Trial”, due to its belief that the jury for the Wilder-Povetkin lawsuit did its job in evaluating the evidence and the credibility of witnesses and based on it was able to produce the jury verdict.
Andrey Ryabinsky's World of Boxing still has the opportunity to appeal and I don’t believe that they will abandon their lawsuit.
I read somewhere that prior to the Wilder-Povetkin lawsuit that both parties agreed to limit the case to one lawsuit, which was done to limit the court costs and fees. So part of these costs may be deducted from Wilder’s compensation.
