Perhaps he has seen the fight where Fury punched himself in the face? Or the one where he got dropped by light hitting cruiserweight Steve Cunningham?
I must be the only person that has ever referred to Furys win over Wlad as a schooling

Perhaps you have seen the fight where Joshua got dropped by Wlad? Or the one where he got wobbled by light hitting Dillian Whyte?
So you think landing less than 3 punches per round more than your opponent is a schooling, Wes?
3 punches per round more than your opponent between 2 big heavyweights, yes.
Fury schooled Wlad, yes...

I have been off topic on this one and talking about Fury the person for some odd reason but to move back to the fight - this poll was done two years ago nearly, why are we still using it and why is Wes stating it is indicative of anything up to date? Oh because "people can change their vote" which to him means everyone has made a decision on whether too or not and so every single vote on this poll is valid and up to date. smh

I used to think Fury would take AJ to school but also have to say that I never saw a "schooling", for whatever reason - wife and home troubles with her depression, complacent, underestimating Fury, rattled by the Fury antics, unable to handle a tall unconventional boxer etc, for whatever reason Wlad underperformed but it was still a close fight.

One win against any fighter on one night does not a legend make, else we will be lauding Leon Spinks as an ATG. It is what they do subsequently which shows whether that was a result of circumstances or a proof of a superior and elite level.

Since then, AJ has shown mettle and Fury has let it all fall to shite. AJ would have to be a favourite now and tbh, I would argue the current version would be a favourite against the 2015 version of Fury as he is more tested for consistency. And tart it up any which way, the Wlad against AJ would demolish the Wlad against Fury.

What on earth are you talking about?

Forgive me for saying but you're like a child when it comes to Fury. Tyson getting 7k for a talk? 'That's more than you'd get.' Tyson not selling 10k tickets and Joshua doing nine times that? 'Yeah but Tyson is just as popular because my mates say so.' Not understanding the above point at all and steaming in with 'what do you know about prison?'

It's like you won't accept any criticism of Fury at all. The jealousy towards Joshua making a good go of his career is practically dripping off the screen.

Firstly the poll is irrelevant as it’s votes have mostly been cast 18 months ago.

Fury is a mover and would give AJ problems. But he pulls the trigger very well.

Klit had showed in the Jennings fight he couldn’t pull it anymore. Fury was able to pretty much stand in range without fear or repercussions.
He wouldn’t be able to do that against Joshua.
Fury had shown in previous fights that he admires his work and gets clipped.
I have no doubt that a prime Fury and a prime AJ would of had Fury winning the first few rounds before AJ caught him and finished him mid-late rounds.
AJ is a quality finisher when his opponents are hurt. (I don’t include Takam, awful stoppage)

Unfortunately I fear we will never see a prime Fury again. No way on earth he can be the man he used to be with the battering he’s put his body through.
Also I see AJ improving. I don’t think we’ve seen a prime AJ yet.
I also thought Klitschko had his last hurrah against AJ. Threw the kitchen sink at him, something he hadn’t done in a long time.

When judging HW, longevity plays a factor. Fury lack of Reign will be his memorable factor. Hope he proves me wrong as he’s a fun fighter with great footwork for a big man.

I don’t believe for one second there’s a racist under-current at work.

You're in danger of stating the stultifyingly obvious to say crime is widespread. That said, in Ireland:

https://www.irishtimes.com/news/social- ... -1.3263524

Travellers make up 0.6 per cent of the population yet account for 10 per cent of the male prisoner population and 22 per cent of the female prison population.

And in the UK:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... -education

A report released yesterday by HM Inspectorate of Prisons revealed that around 5% of prisoners in England and Wales consider themselves to be Gypsy, Romany or Traveller: the same proportion of the prison estate made up by women prisoners. Given that only 0.1% of respondents to the 2011 census in England and Wales identified themselves as "Gypsy or Irish Traveller", this is a huge over-representation.

Agree with this 100% - Fury really got inside Wlad's head and brought out the bad, old, gunshy, timid Wlad.
For AJ Wlad cleared his mind, rolled back the years and gave it all he had left. You could give Fury some credit for this of course, but I doubt it would work on AJ.

It's not what's in the Telegraph, rather what's in prison. And the answer is 'far more travellers than there should be based on how many there are in the country.'

I can understand not liking the fact, but your attitude is why nothing will be done about it. Far too many travellers end up locked up, unemployed or dying young, but your answer isn't 'what can be done about it.' Instead it's 'people who aren't travellers commit crimes too.' Well done Einstein.

See also, 'smoking doesn't actually do you any harm at all because people who don't smoke also die.'

Nobody is saying non-travellers don't commit crime but travellers lives generally revolve around committing crime. It generally goes - roll into town, set up camp where it causes an inconvenience to the locals, while all the locals are out at work the travelling kids are in the garden sheds robbing bicycles and tools, the adults are out ripping off little old grannies for substandard work and in the evenings they're in the local pub being aggressive towards the staff and locals and then after a while they move on and leave the site an absolute shithole.

I know quite a few travellers, some I'd even call friends but would I leave something valuable of mine in their possession or ask them to look after my house while I was away? Would I shite.

That's mostly Irish that shift up n down nowadays. My family are all on yards, permanent sites, And some in houses

Romany will pull up n down for fairs and conventions or if they've married into Irish but most Romany have settled on their own bits of ground or a site or house 👍

And a lot do a lot of business with the local factories , garages , builders yards , scrap yards , and are well liked

My uncles and grandfather go to a pub where they are very well liked, go there all the time, and talk to all the locals

Given the condition of Fury, if he even makes a comeback, the work he'll need to put in to get in shape will probably mean by the time he gets in the ring again, he will have been inactive for 3 years.

He should just retire, the guy is a joke and he's miles behind now, Joshua and Wilder are fantastic athletic specimens who are training on a daily basis, furthering their distance from Fury with every mile they jog and every medicine ball they throw... while this fat fool is jiggling his belly to the hakka for comedic value.
