Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
Just seen this on allegedly schedule for this Saturday, 2 slow wide open Heavyweights, could be a stinker but could be fun, I remember expecting Charr/Leapai to be boring and it turned out to be a decent scrap and Ustinov has power so fingers crossed
Not the most tantalising match up we've ever had but fvck it, there's nothing else on

I will more than likely be a snoozefest but I'll give it a watch.
I reckon Ustinov takes this...

Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
Jesus, I've just realised that this is for the WBA Heavyweight Title.

So poor is Ustinov but we dont exacly have a prime Roy Jones in Charr.
Ustinov by stoppage

Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
These are horrid rankings. Most on the list can't fight, or don't fight, or both.wesshaw1985 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2017, 12:34WBA Rankings -

Fres Oquendo shouldn't be ranked three, but to his credit he did run Ruslan Chagaev very very close and at the time I would say Chagaev was perhaps top 15.
Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
This fight is live on BN tomorrow now - last minute it’s been picked up.

Either that or he has some incriminating pictures of Gilberto Mendoza.
Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
Its called sitting on a ranking, to be fair to him he has been a bit shafted also by the WBA and their promises.... I don't think he has been the guilty party when it comes to pull outs, suspensions.
I don't blame him for not fighting, he has a winnable world title fight coming up and he could well lose a tune up.

Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
Got a few quid on a Ustinov knockout.
Hopefully he gets rid of Charr quick because if not I’d favour Charr in the later rounds.
Actually a good fight if you ignore the WBA element.
Will be a better fight than the Whyte-Helenius one I had to sit through last month.

Think he will be too awkward for Charr

Ustinov has less than 1 round in 2 years. He's 41 years old and Chart is his second best opponent.
I feel Ustinov wins but it's not as easy as most are thinking

Neither are world beaters
Doubt it's going to be a too engaging affair

Charr is stationary as it gets, been starched a few times, and I read somewhere that he has artificial hips now because he was involved in a shooting
Re: Manuel Charr vs Alexander Ustinov
