Congratulations to both men. I haven't heard of Dunne, but the Brigg's story is an inspiring one, and he was an absolute warrior.

Briggs' dive against Danny Green should've disqualified him from ever being considered for any sort of Hall of Fame in my opinion. Even one like this that won't get much attention. He got his dirty money as a reward.

As opposed to Green's career after his first retirement... 😉😑 The Brigg's dive was one of the best things to happen for Aussie boxing at the time. It exposed Green for the man he truly is.

Rumor has it that just the air created by a Danny Green jab once killed a man... 😉😄

Dunne was a terrific fighter, and unusually for the time he won the Commonwealth title without having first won the Australian tile.

I'm sure it's a bit of an optical illusion but Dunne looks closer to Charkey's size than Paul's.

Charkey was not very tall. I trained at the same gym, I was about 5'11" at that time and he was a couple of inches shorter than I was.
