Which side of the pond are you referring to? UK ?
yup. I highly doubt that Canelo/Andrade would have had over 1.3 million PPV buys like Canelo/Smith. That's the bottom line.
Who said Canelo/Smith did 1.3 million PPV buys?
UGH i'm sorry man. I meant 300k

Andrade, as much as he talks, actually is a good boxer....just needs to start taking risks instead of only chasing big paydays. Add to that he is 6 inches taller than Canelo, longer reach, and a southpaw to boot. Virgil Hunter says he has better over-all skills than Lara, more power, minus all the movement (running).

Maybe Canelo can use Andrade for a tune-up if it is such an easy win.Andrade doesn't deserve the fight, but I'd still like to see it.
I don't see all the hubbub about Andrade. I've seen all of his televised fights, which weren't many, and I was never impressed enough to say that he was elite or anything. I personally think that Charlo knocks Andrade out and Jacobs would beat him too.

To say that an opponent's popularity didn't have anything to do with Golden Boy's decision is naive. Though i agree it was an easy strap and part of the equation, I think that it was a combo platter that made Smith the more attractive option at the time.

Andrade has been claiming to be avoided for the past 5 years. In that span of time, he has made no genuine effort to fight anyone good other than Vanes Martirosyan, and no one has avoided him. Like seriously, he fought Alantez Fox in 2017, why? Because 55 other guys were ducking him? I seriously doubt that 55 of the top 55 challengers were all ducking him. Andrade almost lost to Jack Culcay this year. No one is avoiding him. I don't know who would be stupid enough to believe that Alvarez is avoiding Andrade, but was willing to fight Lara, Mayweather, Golovkin, Trout, Cotto, etc.
