Carlos Monzon offers a title shot to Sugar Ray Robinson.
SRR has a victory over Carlos from way back in week 10 - and the reigning WBC World Champion wants a chance to rectify that.

Julian Jackson will take the chance to right an old wrong by fighting Mike O'Dowd this week.

Marvin Hagler ALWAYS wants to fight THE BEST. And so he looks at the other top 10 competitors.
He wants to fight another ineligible challenger, so he challenges Tommy Hearns to a fight.

We believe a Hagler vs Hearns fight could be wildly exciting and could be described as "A WAR".

Tommy and Nino have stated their intentions for the week.

Harry Greb is gonna actually get in shape this week, and take on a tough old brit in preparation for the Super 6.

He'll fight Mick Leahy. Leahy's no world beater, but Harry respects him enough to know he best not be coming in overweight. Harry will be raring to go for the Super 6, but he's not overlooking Leahy.

Well, we all know that Mr Greb is in The Super Six, regardless of the result...
:TU:

Speaking of which, I will be putting up a Super Six thread very shortly...

Of course we all know that. He held every title there is to hold, and is the Million Dollar Champion and don't you ever forget it!

Greb made 10 successful title defenses of the MGM Grand Cup, and brought so much freakin' prestige to that Minor title that he has his own room on permanent reserve at the MGM Grand.

In fact I have it on good authority that living it up at the MGM with all the room service, free booze and women he could handle is what had him overweight, and looking sluggish last week. He knows now that he can't enjoy the spoils of his work too much lest he lose all he's worked for. The Harry Greb you'll see this week is the Harry you'll see in the Super 6. An ass kicking machine!

Greb is gonna be the first man in Sim History to be the Million Dollar Champion and the Super 6 King.

I think you'll have to call him Super Million Dollar King Harry I :OhYes:

Robinson accepts, thanks for the shot.

Steele is wondering what other eligible opponents are interested in a title shot?

Duran looking to face anybody somewhat near him in ranking. Anyone?

Well...since Freddie Steele just blatantly ducked Nino Benvenuti, I suppose Nino will find himself a challenger for his Light Middleweight Title.

He'll offer a shot to Julian Jackson, and if Jackson doesn't accept we'll seek revenge against Emile Griffith...the man that brought an end to his unbeaten run earlier in the season.

That being said. If Freddie Steele finds his balls, Nino still wants his chance to hold the True Middleweight Title.

Nino turned down fights with Robinson and Steele in the past, more than one occasion. Now he wants a shot at Steele because he has some belts and is ranked above him? OK guy. I'd rather Steele defend against somebody rated higher than him for a push for the Silver Six, than face Nino, who is a 154 pounder, plus rated lower.

Plus Duran took Nino's soul in 2 rounds. Just stay quiet..........

With that said, I'm never one for the easy road. Steele offers a title shot to:

1 Leonard Ray 2077.6
2 Walker Mickey 1977.1
9 Fitzsimmons Bob 1834.1

Now you're trying to swoop in and steal Tommy Ryan's title challenger on top of it all? Don't make Tommy whip Freddie's ass again!

Mickey Walker will accept the offer from Tommy Ryan

Sam Langford is looking for challenges, anyone that is willing to step in the ring with him.

McCallum will take on a cpu to be named later, unless someone offers him a better fight.

The sensible thing to do would be to turn this down - Hearns had fought so many virtually unknockoutable guys almost in a row since I got him it is pretty much bad management on my part. But Tommy wouldn't forgive me if I ran from this so we accept. Sign it up.

Ketchel isn't on that list but he gonna call it Steele anyway. He is coming of a draw with SRR and had done more good this season generally than Fitz IMO whatever the rankings.
