Why do you want David Haye not to have an injury free year? Or have I read that wrong and you want him to be injury free all year?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑01 Jan 2018, 07:49 * Another PPV platform being created - Arum confirmed he will promote two cards on ESPN PPV.![]()

I may have worded it wrong. In simple English. I don't want Haye to get injured.MattCoke wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 07:13Why do you want David Haye not to have an injury free year? oh, doesnt matter then does it ?Ruthless-RKO wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 10:37The belt doesn't make the boxer.. the boxer makes the belt. I think it's fine. IBO is already just as well known than the main 4 orgs anyway.
Idiots thinking that somebody won a fight, because they were blowing their cheeks, hitting their chest and talking to their opponent while running.SenorPipino wrote: ↑01 Jan 2018, 10:49 Golovkin given the benefit of the doubt by judges simply because he comes forward and moves his hands more than the other guy.
It happened twice in 2017.
It's time judges learned how to score and rewarded only "effective" aggressiveness, instead of getting hypnotized by a fighter throwing a barrage of inconsequential punches.
Conclusion: you shouldn't participate in this forum or better just stop watching boxing.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 08:08 I don’t want to see more boxers fail PED tests and for them all to cite the same lazy excuses, such as:
• “It must have been caused by contaminated meat”
• “It was due to drinking a stupidly expensive energy drink”
• “I forgot to disclose a medical condition that I can’t prove I have, because I’m perfectly well now, but sorry for not disclosing the masking agents… *cough* the blood pressure tablets on the paperwork”
I want to see the sports’ governing bodies avoid doing the following:
• Suddenly deciding to grant top-15 rankings to certain fighters, simply because they’re involved in a lucrative match-up, which subsequently leads to bigger sanctioning fees
• Allowing certain fighters that are on losing streaks to be granted opportunities to fight for vacant world titles, despite there being other fighters ranked above them
• Installing mandatory defences on unified champions without attempting to work with the other governing bodies to avoid a situation where the titleholder has to lose one of their belts
• Showing stupid amounts of leniency towards fighters that have failed PED tests or have failed to disclose their medication on their paperwork
• Applying their rules inconsistently, such as stripping fighters for losing if other have lost but retained their belts, or for not performing a mandatory defence within a specific timescale, whilst others have escaped punishment under identical circumstances
I don’t want to see anymore situations whereby the TV networks are the real reason why certain fights cannot be made, such as the almost insurmountable HBO-Showtime political barrier.
I don’t want to see fighters being accused of “ducking” if fight negotiations have never been attempted by either party or if it’s due to the TV networks or promoters refraining to work with each other... or if it's due one party submitting lowball offers and then boldly proclaiming “duck” when they’re subsequently rejected.
I want unduly biased fight fans to refrain from applying double-standards, such as two men committing the very same proverbial “crime”, which results in one of them being ridiculed and lambasted to obscene proportions, whilst they either creatively justify excuses for the other or they conveniently ignore the adverse situation that involved their favoured fighter altogether.
I want fight fans to refrain from making assumptions that are derogatory in nature about a particular fighter, solely based on the ignorance of the lazy lemming-like masses, where they all fail to fact-check their beliefs.
I want fight fans to refrain from being gullible, which means that when a particular fighter claims “nobody is volunteering to share the ring with me”, their claim shouldn’t be endorsed without evidence… and the same boxer that made that originally made that statement should not then be excused from facing title challengers that are calling them out!
I want fight fans to refrain from prematurely granting an honorary rite of passage to “greatness” to particular fighters without them having earned it by beating the very best fighters of the same age/era/size. A fighter should not be considered a pound-for-pounder based on passing the proverbial “eyeball” test against C-level opposition. Similarly, a fighter should not be proclaimed as the “Greatest of All Time” simply because they’ve engaged in several world title bouts against physically smaller world-class opposition.
I want to see fight fans refrain from making hideously obscene proclamations of robbery for closely-contested bouts where the vast majority of the audience believed there could have only been one or two points in it either way at most.
Have you never complained about some of the things I’ve listed?boxing_rocks wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 11:16Conclusion: you shouldn't participate in this forum or better just stop watching boxing.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑04 Jan 2018, 08:08 I don’t want to see more boxers fail PED tests and for them all to cite the same lazy excuses, such as:
