No - but the fact that the board have come out and said he's miles off being licenced whilst Tyson himself is tweeting about getting it today and having a fight with Joshua in the near future makes him and his team look amateurish.

Nobody from his team have even been in touch with the board since early December.

To be fair he says he is applying for it today. Not getting it.

I guess when he applies he will have to have the same medicals, checks as everyonr else. Plus with his self declared mental health issues i wonder if they will conduct a mental health check.

He is a fool thinking he'd beat AJ straight off. He isn't sugar ray. But he needs to stay relevant whilsy AJ is fighting Parker and wilder whilst fury will be losing his only belt.

Expect fury V someone low risk, low power, low work rate for his comeback. No ideas who that fits though.

Whyte, in literal truth, is a European level fighter. He's substantially shorter than Fury, and lost by kayo to Joshua and has been rather inactive himself (two fights in 2017, one against journeyman Tann) and his fight with Browne fell through. So he's available. His #10 rating is just enough to pass for a RING MAGAZINE title defense, though decisioning the "damaged goods" Helenius shouldn't have warranted him that rating (imho).

Id like to see it happen but I dont think it will. I'm kind of thinking that fury is calling out Joshua now to jump the queue because he probably knows that he isnt the same mediocre fighter he was before the klit fight. Im guessing here but all the ups and downs hes had and the inactivity surely doesnt make him the world beater hes proclaiming. If Fury fought AJ first fight back and beat AJ it would be the biggest shock in boxing in terms of whats been going on over the last few years and a fat bloke coming back after so much crap and beating the best heavyweight in the division.

I think Fury possibly will be back in April against a low key fighter or someone like Chisora (Id like to see him with Price) someone who will not give him much trouble, which is ok I guess as you need to gel back in.

But, I think if he fights anyone of note he could well be found out and balls it all up, purely through inactivity and the time scale. Who ever matches up Fury with an opponant I hope they are not also living in cloud cuckoo land and are looking beyond his means.

Fury isnt going to be around too long if he does come back in April. He's not going to beat everyone up and slaughter AJ and rule the world for 5 years or more. Fury, if fights will have 2 or 3 fights max and be caught out. The joke will then be over.

Once again this smacks of Fury setting himself a target to try and get him geared up for a comeback. But he's not got a licence, an opponent, a venue, or a proper date. Everything about every one of his comebacks always seems vague and unlikely.

If he was licensed, fit, and actually had a coherent plan people might take notice, but he's none of those things and the only people giving his 'I'd knock Joshua out now' droning the time of day are the same dribblers who go on about his Wlad fight like it was Calzaghe Lacy.
