ADuckis Chickenson
Re: Is Adonis Stevenson being criticised unfairly by fight fans?
Adonis Stevenson deserves basically nothing BUT criticism. He's had one of the most disgraceful title runs of any active Champion in the sport today.
He's barely defended against ranked opponents through his entire reign which is going on about what? 4 years now? Maybe 5?
He's avoided anybody in the Top 5 of his division through the entire reign, and he's even paid off Eleider Alvarez to duck him...a very beatable opponent.
Adonis Stevenson sucks royally, and the sport will be better off without him.
I sincerely hope this is the year somebody takes the title off of that chump, and I believe it will be.

Lol, if he was more popular people would talk about how he's the bogeyman no one will fight.
On his side I'm sure he could have done more to try and get big fights, and he seems content to plod out the rest of his career now.

Okay... When Kovalev smashed Ismayel Sillakh and Chickenson fought Tony Bellew who'd already been beaten by Cleverly... That was on the co-feature back in 2013 when the fight made the most sense.... It's now 2018 and the fight never got close to being made... The winners were supposed to meet to unify.... Sergei was asked who he wanted next and he smiled and said "Adonis" ..... Chicken was asked who he wanted next and he made all kinds of evasions instead of saying he'd fight Kovalev.... It was a blockbuster fight back then and Chicken ran off to Showtime to escape Kovalev.Enlightened-One wrote: ↑15 Jan 2018, 04:52Can you please review each bullet-pointed claim articulated by the WBC in their factually-correct chronological list of events and provide some evidence of their inaccuracy, because I can’t?Kalan wrote: ↑15 Jan 2018, 03:17THEIR facts... Chickenson's team made it so it was impossible for these guys to get a fight with him and get compensated fairly.... They KNEW the fights couldn't happen.... Chicken only wanted to fight super weak challengers which is what happened... HIs list of title opponents is the most ridiculous anybody has ever seen -- enabling Al Haymon to continue getting his cut like clockwork... If Chicken fought anyone good he'd be knocked out again... He's a piece of dung.
Issuing sweeping statements, such as the WBC’s list of events “are totally BS”, isn’t something that you should convey if you’re unable to support this stance with your own set of irrefutable facts, so I hope you’re able to substantiate your claim.
Not only did he not fight Kovalev.... He never fought anybody who was any good.

You have blatantly failed to address any of the facts listed by the WBC! Is it because you can't?Kalan wrote: ↑15 Jan 2018, 15:07Okay... You've attempted to divert the topic of conversion away from subject matter that you're uncomfortable to discuss, but I won't let you off so easily.
Either address your original claim or admit you were wrong.
What's it to be kid?
