They have actually been clever in the undercard fighters and stacking with locals who’ll sell well meaning the Hydro should get decent crowd.

Did wonder when I seen the Hydro and size for Taylor - but Ham/Flynn/Easton/Trotter should bring fair amount with them.

I bought tickets for the fight and I'm looking forward to hopefully a good nights boxing with my son who's 13 - his first boxing fight.

I did speak to Josh about fans thinking the fight was disappointing and he explained why the fight with Soto was made.

Well worth a read.
Soto is a good fight for Josh.
As long as it goes at least 6 rounds, I think it's a good opportunity to learn.
If his matchups continue like this, he will be well prepared for a shot next year.
Some may think sooner, but just look at the top 6 guys ahead of him.
I'd like to see him in with Mimoune at the end of the year. Euro belt and 'super' pleather IBO belt
I think he can do what Eggy failed at.

It's expensive for a kid as the parent has to pay full price. £45.50 it cost for each ticket and the £5.50 is the booking fee.

Should only cost £40 if you get direct from a boxer.

Saw him a few times mate. Won a few quid on him winning the prizefighter few years ago. Also saw him against Eggington and he put up a decent effort against Josh Leather at the end of last year. He's no mug but it's a winnable fight for Easton.

My British fight of the year involving Foot, thoroughly enjoyed it - Easton has his hands full.

From the interview with RingNews, it seems he wants it, but from his career path thus far, he appears not to be moving in that direction.
Personally I would like him to have two quick fights in order to win and secure that belt.

Pretty difficult to match at Euro level. I think he absolutely destroys the champion Yigit.

yigit would be the best 140 fighter hes beaten. davies was an overhyped prospect with hardly an amateur career and vasquez was a faded lightweight.

Yigit is tailor made (pardon the pun) for Josh. I'd take Davies to beat Yigit also. Vasquez came with ambition and is an awkward guy to box. Wouldn't surprise me if he has a couple more decent wins left in him even if he is past his best.

Amateur fights mean very little. Stalker beat Taylor a few times in the ams. Josh would whip him silly if they fought as pros.

I don't think he smashes everything but I've been very impressed with him so far. You'd need to be pretty hard to please to criticise him too much. Yigit is decent but I think Taylor would make pretty easy work of him but that's just my opinion. It's tough matching Taylor at Euro level and Cyclone are obviously looking to fast track him. The division is wide open at world title level since TC moved up.

Davies is fundamentally flawed but I think he'll come again and I'd fancy him against Yigit.

If Flanagan beats Hooker you'll probably see him defending against Catterall in the summer at some point. I'm interested to see how Flanagan looks at 140. He was obviously struggling at lightweight. That could be a good match up later in the year for Taylor.

In such a short pro career Taylor has moved at an impressive rate, so I've no problem with this bout. I wouldn't complain if he had 2 or 3 more like this to keep him active and that should also mean TV dates that everyone can tune into.

The plan seemed to be Yigit for the EBU title, but Anthony made his feeling clear after the fight that Taylor was not in his plans at the moment. That would have been an excellent match, but not Taylor's fault.
