Chavez Jr. isn't a highly-skilled fighter, but he would hold a significant size advantage over his opponent in this mythical match-up.

Eubank Jr. would probably win this on pure work-rate alone, since the durable Brit won't be troubled by the Mexican's power. This would be a classic action-packed bout between two sluggers.

This would actually be a very sensible and highly-lucrative fight to make, since both fighters need to re-establish themselves on the world scene by gaining a victory over a fellow big name opponent.

JCC Jr's natural weight division is CW. CEJ is a small SMW. There is a big difference in the weight/size.

Maybe the 12th and final round but JC did nothing before that. Roach admitted that he was seriously considering stopping the bout after the 9th.

I'll never believe that Junior has grown into a cruiser. He's 32 now. His growing days are over. Unless it's fat.

He's supposedly bulked up...almost Joshua-like. But it's just window dressing.

He shouldn't be above 170. Some months back he was interested in fighting Martin Murray at super middle. Chavez knew that even light heavy was too much weight.

And the latest I heard was that he was going to fight Angulo in January. The fight was going to be at super middle but Junior predictably begged off.

Junior is no light heavy. And cruiser is absurd. Even he knows it.

Whatever size Chavez Jr might be after a munchie fuelled burger binge, if he could be arsed to train properly he still makes 168 fairly easily.

He's a fair size super middle, but Ramirez, Callum Smith and Jesse Hart dwarf him - he's only on a par with Andre Dirrell, DeGale, Benavidez etc. Any weight problems he's had are from poor training/discipline/motivation etc, nothing to do at all with belonging anywhere higher.

You've got a fairly big super middleweight vs a small super middleweight/good sized middleweight.

Neither are massively skilled or powerful, but one is at least motivated and keeps in shape.

Easy win for Eubank, although JCC's chin and Eubank's lack of power means we wouldn't see a stoppage if they fought all week.

"I feel like 168 is too heavy for me. I love the way I feel. I'm light, I'm faster and I actually feel more powerful....it's my job to make weight . Canelo is fast and strong too. And I had to make sure that I was at top shape to win."

Of course after the fight, Junior changed his tune and lamented that he was weight drained and simply had no strength or energy.
