this is a major problem for me. it is one of the big advantages for the few that become the "a" side in the sport. lads fighting on small hall shows earning a few hundred quid do not have the means or support to employ teams of nutritionists ,sports scientists or chemists that can all make sure the likelihood of ped use being discovered is slim to zero.

i don't believe his bullshit excuse. the stamina he showed in the ggg fight that hadn't been evident in any previous fights was suss to begin with. i wouldn't be surprised to find he has asthma as well.

for me there needs to be a lifetime ban for the very first offence or they scrap drug testing altogether and let them all get on with it.

nb, from what i can see clenbuterol has a half life of 36 hours, not 48. for a person to test positive for it they would have to eat a shedload of beef. apparently an online article containing canelos usual diet has him eating mostly chicken and no beef.

good discussion re drug use in sport and the drugs used here even if it's a bit long
