Smith appears like a stiff robot, no head movement. His jab is overrated, I think Groves can easily get under it

lol can you imagine if smith ends up facing a guy like vincent feigenbutz (sauerland fighter, wbss reserve in a previous round) in the final. would be a shambles of a tournament victory for him,. but probably by far the easiest route to millions hell ever have

And if Smith has to pull out for any reason, I'd fight Vinny for £500k. I'm a bit light, but what the hell. I'd even do a dance on the podium for that.

Smigga tells everyone who'll listen off camera that Callum knocked Groves out in sparring.

And they've been chasing the fight ever since.

They were asking for it a while back and were always confident of winning, once the tournament came about I think they knew it would happen.
I used to think it was a win for Callum but the new Groves weve seen im not so sure now. Just hope Groves is fully fit when/if it happens.

Undercard? Or is he hoping for boxing's first triple threat match?

That’ll give his lawyer a nice break from trying to keep Braehmer out of jail then

On a more serious note that leaves a bad taste in the mouth. As he's trigger happy with suing, presumably he wouldn't object to lawsuits from the victims of his crimes ?

Surely they'll grant an extension. Groves deserves to take his place in the final.

Would be ridiculous for them not too. Who’d want to see any other final, really?

I agree however 7th July is when 2 of the World Cup quarter final games are played. Looking at how the tournament is scheduled it looks like England will play on that day if they get out of their group. One of the quarter finals kicks off at 9pm. Can't see World Boxing Super Series or ITV Box Office wanting to go head to head with a massive free to air sporting event featuring the English national team, especially if the game goes into extra time and penalties.

I'd be sick as a dog if Callum Smith beats Groves on a shoulder injury retirement.

I'm not interested in any other version of a final tbh. Fuckin Zeuge or Braehmer? No thanks!
