The problem in boxing today is that guys get title fights when they're still profesional neophytes.

Beterbiev has a grand total of 12 fights. A limited number of rounds. He's a work in progress.

Win or lose, Browne would demonstrate just how much work Beterbiev needs.
Browne is nowhere.... As soon as he moves up he'll get smashed... He's no good.

Claiming he's a match for Beterbiev is a dumb joke....

The only problem with Beterbiev is he not getting any fights... He'll have 5 years in as a pro by June... 12 fights with so few rounds is freakin' nuts so far into his career... Mike Tyson had 28 fights and the Heavyweight Title 18 months into his pro career - after washing out in the Olympic Trials... And that's how you do it... When a great puncher turns pro you move him swiftly with a ton of fights because he doesn't go a lot of rounds before he flattens people...

If he never gets any fights he may try to go a lot of rounds to get more work in... That's self defeating.

Browne can win this fight, but he is stuck politically in a holding pattern until stevenson, jack, alvarez get fights before him.

He not as inept and hittable as Browne... Any real good 175-pounder is going to smash Browne flat...

Runners play right into Beterbiev's game... He cuts off the ring on them and blasts them to Timbuctoo.
Did he cut the ring off versus Koelling? He not as good as Browne.

Browne is on no level... He's terrible and will lose by KO as soon as he steps up... He's gotten gift wins against 2nd raters.

It appear that this fight is going to be confirmed next Monday. Browne doesn't stand a chance IMO

On the other hand, there are rumors that he is fighting Kovalev:

Beterbiev smashes Browne like an annoying bug. Kovalev will do the same if Ward fights didn't ruin him.

Marcus Browne would get beat by Artur Beterbiev. Hearing though that Beterbiev is still in litigation with Yvon Michel with his current contract and that Browne is now highly likely to take on Kovalev for the WBO World title in New York. Either way I'm of the opinion that both Russians will beat him with ease, in due course we're see really how good he really is.

He's good. Very good.

Beterbiev and Kovalev didn't exactly look like world beaters in their most recent fights.

Yeah -- but they're good enough to flatten Marcus Browne... He's terrible.. Wait around. He'll get blasted out.
