Been mentioned.. Hearn announced it yesterday. overall, some good names on the undercard.

This is only a 6 rounder..
I mean mentioned in this forum. Almost nobody spoke about that.

I think Haye is done. I'm surprised he has got through the camp and wonder just how hard he will have been able to push himself. Against very poor opponents before Bellew he looked as though he was just loading up with wild swings. I think his timing has totally gone and think he will lose again.

Stop being ridiculous. A broken hand is nowhere near as debilitating as a ruptured achilles, fighters fight one with broken hands all the time.

Next.
The only that is ridicolous is you. Did i have compare the two things?

well if you think ppl are being unobjective by mentioning one but not the other youve obviously compared those injuries and thought that it must be bias that results in one being mentioned more then the other, rather then ppl looking at each case and seeing that hayes is actually much worse

if you havent compared the injuries why the hell even post that ppl arent being objective because they mention hayes more?

perhaps you should make a fair comparison and then youll see why hayes is thought of as a much bigger deal

I think Haye wins this, he knows he has to perform and you cant really say Bellew was doing well before the injury.

This might be the first fight Haye has trained properly for since Chisora :maybe:

I don't disagree with anything you say here, I'm just not convinced of how much Haye has left. He will have to be a lot better than he was last time and I'm not convinced he can be. The achilles was clearly a big factor but not the only one IMO.

haye was several rounds up when the leg blew, he really only has to be as good as he was before that happened, except for all fight

also hed started taking control more and more as he began to use the jab more, after the initial trying to rush a stoppage. if he comes out using the jab from the start i think it would be in his favour even more.

Yes, he seemed to be relaxing into the fight after a pretty shocking start - but he also used up a lot of energy wildly trying to KO Bellew with every blow.

haye has a huge london based following.
Is it? There must be venues in Liverpool with more capacity than the O2. As he won the first fight I would've thought Bellew would have wanted the home advantage, not fight in Hayes home town again.

You are so very right. I'm not sure I understand how anyone doesn't see this. Haye by KO 11.

i can understand ppl not having much confidence in hayes body. hes been very injury prone and off course that super obviosly led to his defeat last time in a fight he was clearly winning despite looking poor. that would be my doubt, because i think the first 5.5 rounds of the last fight showed that even well off his game hes still a level above bellew as long as his body hasnt fallen apart.

hayes folliwing is much bigger and aren't going to travel to Liverpool.

if you think this fight is about anything other than a payday, youre mad.

I agree...this fight, if it happens should provide the winner a title shot and more respect in the division. THe more we discuss it the more I want to see it.

It's one of the better HW fights on the horizon, as I see it. It would be a great fight for viewing.

Haye is just so much slower now all round than he used to be: movement, reflexes, hands. I hate to say it as I think DH is a top bloke but it's difficult to watch. As much as I'd like to see some sort of reborn Haye come in and fight like he was in his late 20's, experience tells me it just won't happen. Age, injuries, inactivity, all suggest to me he'll look as bad as he did in the opening of the first fight. Stylewise Bellew's awful for Haye as well.

Anyway, prediction is a sloppy, poor fight to watch with a handful of moments where they catch each other but generally not a high standard. Bellew to stay cautious early and lose the first half of the fight, then win rounds back in the second half as Haye gets even slower and TB grows in confidence. A good tear up in the 12th as both are too knackered by this point to move, and then a split decision to... David Haye! Haye however will realise the game is up and retire, happy to be going out on a W.

ECHO Arena is the biggest in Liverpool.. It holds 9,000..

London is better..

Only the Manchester Arena has a higher capacity (by 1,000) than O2 Arena.

I bet they could have sold out Goodison Park if it was in the summer.

He didn't fill Goodison for a world title fight.

Aye, I'm guessing Makubu didn't bring much of a fanbase with him though. Anyway, it's not at GP so no point speculating I suppose!

Being Bellew's home city, his fans should have filled it.
