Gennady needs to take the fight now, whilst he still possesses enough physicality to win.
GGG is already past-his-prime and he may suddenly become very beatable by the time he arrives at his 37th birthday.
1. They agreed a deal for the May fight
2. Alvarez failed a drug test and was suspended, subsequently tarnishing his reputation somewhat
3. Golovkin was inconvenienced by the above due to no fault of his own
4. Alvarez wants to fight Golovkin in September
5. Golovkin wants to fight Alvarez now he has signed up, eventually, to testing
6. Like it or not neither fighter makes as much money against anyone else
7. Whilst financially Alvarez is indeed the "a side" there is a big argument to suggest that from a reputation perspective Golovkin is the "a side"
8. This fight is important to both fighters' legacies
Thanks
GGG deservres ti receive no more than 40% for the Canelo rematch.
Anyone that subsequently proposes a counter argument that contradicts this claim is a fûckîng môrôn!

I could shoot a man once or 40 times, I've still shot a man either way.mexicool wrote: ↑26 May 2018, 16:03Only trace amounts were found, consistent with meat contamination, he passed a hair follicle test, and is enrolled in @Vada_Testing. Even with a 50% split, Canelo would earn more than in any other fight. So, if the fight doesn't happen, then Canelo will lose financially to not mention the reputation repair.

Golovkin needs to make this fight. If it falls apart because he wanted 50/50 it’s dissapointing. The pressures on him now rather than Canelo...whom looks like he wants it, Golden boy have played it well. After all the back and forth drama...I assume people just want it (the fight) to happen. Think we, the fans, are a mix of curious and hopeful (regardless of long term advantages of ped use). I’m hopeful Canelo doesn’t perform as well, others maybe the opposite. Basically the time to make this fight is now. It’s about money, Golovkin should be about money and I’m sure he is, unless there is unknown ridiculous concessions he needs to make he should sign and get another career high pay day. If they are holding out for 60/40 and that is realistic, good for them but if not...let’s get this fight on.
